Check last year sales figure. A51 is the best selling android phone and right below it there is redmi note 9 pro. Remember that poco f2 launched before redmi 9 series with better specs but never made it to top 10 🤭🤭
Even k40 comes as a poco f3 pro it won't sell as much as redmi note 10 series.

Earlier, RAM management on Mi phone with 6gb RAM was as good as other phones with 4gb RAM. Also most of these people testing the software don't tweak certain things in settings. They test the phone on default mode.
