Und... moreIts obvious that short tele as 2x can be replaced with 48mp-108mp if aim is to save money and still have better low light capabilities. Dedicated tele sensor is still better in daylight though and in 3x, 5x or above its impossible to compare.
                      I got mid range with 13mp 5x and its year old - even if its not flagship and its not among first, it made its way to mid range fast. Now is the top 10x with some 20x rumors.
                      There is a reason tele exist and its also very useful to me, cannot imagine it disappearing, even if there is lack of such mid range phones now.
                      I would guess most brands invest to better hi res sensor that cover also 1x-3x, though 5x and 10x is inevitable to come, corona did the thing.. we see now a lot of so called next gens which are basically only partly upgraded like with 1 camera sensor or chipset.

                        I get genuinely angry reading there are companies who are still dishing out phones with Helio P95 chipsets.

                          BBK brands all recycling 2020 models to sell them in 2021? Realme with the C12 to C21, now Oppo with A93 to A94. They are the same phones with no upgrade

                              The phone is great what about the price and the refresh rate using a 12 nano metre chip is ok but you could use a diamensty 800u as oppo used it in oppo f19+ pro.

                                came from a moto g5, besides this new standard of 6.4inch phones are to big and uncomfortable for my taste am alright with my new oppo phone as there are not much smaller alternatives.

                                my major complaints are menu settings are somewhat complex, no notifications on the lockscreen, i just get a nanometer sized square of the notifying app without further details and also apps in memory get killed to save power

Under the ultra premium flagship(> $800 dollars), there are very few Telephoto cameras. Mi 11 doesn't have one, One Plus 8T dropped it eventhough 7T had it. Google swapped it for an Ultra wide, Apple still doesn't offer it on 12. Even when it is there, a lot of companies stick to 3x 8mp ones or 2x 13mp ones.

                                        I'm used to 2 tele cameras now, but any device with a jack get my resp3ct. Having at least 1 tele above 200€ is however better. Above 400€ 5x is a must, flagship grade 10x is nothing new, 20x incoming after all.
