Apple really needs to upgrade from 12mp to 48 or 64MP lenses. Would really improve camera performance

people paying $1200 for this overpriced stuff? and no periscope still? until 2023? what is even up with their minds.

and as always, çR@pPl3 fanboys are gonna defend it saying "aNdrOid mAdE iT fIrSt, aPpLe dId iT rIgHt" who cares if they did it right, at least they had the consideration to actually put it in lower priced phones.

              I can't help but roflmao!

Apple "we always try to keep things simple for our users", then why :

                1. If i want to zoom without losing quality, i need to use my feet to zoom? Other phones could do so without it.

                2. If i want to take great night shots, i have to always use night mode and wait for 2 - 5 seconds. Which isn't ideal, since not all people have time to wait for an photo to be takem.

                3. If i want to customise my home screen, it is more complicated than on android phones

                4. If i want to multitask, i need to keep switching between 2 apps, which isn't ideal. Androids can use split screens.

                5. If i want to focus close to take an macro shot, you will get huge amounf of blur near the focus point thanks to F 1.6 aperture, why not make use of the UW lens like Samsung and put AF in it?

                6. Why can't i take night mode portrait with the selfie cam? There's the 3D system on the front camera too. And even when you cover the lidar, you cannot take night mode portraits even if it is technically possible.

                7. Why can't i disable EIS manually? EIS is bad at night, you get a lot of vibrations and warping.

                8. Why can't i disable Smart HDR video? When you move a lot, the videos always flickers, which is bad

Well, you mean periscope cameras won't be invented until 2023, in the major innovation revolution of the decade. Bringing them for the first time ever to phones, soon coming to an overly expensive for no reason phone, besides brute profit.

Pity, until it does its tele cameras will continue to lag, you cannot get the same IQ from cropping into a sensor vs a dedicated Focal Length lens, simple. Again, Apple behind the curve.
