pricing this phone $1000 is a big luckluster, even the p40 pro for around $200 or $300 cheaper, it has a much better camera setup with a 5x periscope lens, but with a much inferior chipset and no google services, with oneplus tryna be trendy like apple that still doesn't put 5x periscope lens on their phones, they are surely losing their consumers over the $1000 price

It seems pretty obvious now OnePlus 9 Pro won't have a telephoto camera ... what a downgrade for this poor brand ...

they might have focused on the camera department but they should focus on the battery and charging too, as it is also essential aswell, at least a 65 watt charger.

imagine a gcam port on the 9 pro, it would be godly and would at least match the p40 (no pro) in terms of quality.

They could have used the IMX789 sensor on the Find X3 Pro but instead they used a much inferior IMX766 even though it's a bit higher in resolution by 2MP.

But for the average consumers, HDR, whute balance, colours, dynamic range, exposure matters more since they just share at social media at typical 2 MP. And even video was lacking in those toom

Good job Oneplus. Not like your sister, Oppo. Which downgrades its main cameras and zoom cameras compared to last year. And yes, Find X3 Pro shutter speed is really fast, focusing is blazing fast, even night mode is very quick. But HDR, colours, white balance, exposure was lacking compared to S21 Ultra. And there is no periscope when the Find X2 Pro has one. Oppo needs to improve their software processing. Even the 50 MP Ultrawide takes inferior night mode shots compared to S21 Ultra 12 MP Ultrawide. Hardware isn't everything, tuning matters too.
