Both Oppo & Oneplus fall short on Image processing software from the likes of Google, Iphone & Samsung. Hardware is not everything. It's like having a high-end computer or Laptop running Windows 95. Focus more of your R&D into image processing after a picture is taken or better still copy the like is Google sunsung their image processing software & AI algorithms if you can You Chinese OEMs are good at that we won't complain.

The IMX766 will be shared on both models :D

The 8 Pro did better but still not on par with Samsung and Apple.
Gcam doesn't work in third party apps like Snapchat, Instagram, WhatsApp etc, so I end up with the shitty quality of the native camera app.
Unless I import the picture after taking it with gcam, but that takes time and there are no filters.

Also, Oppo paid for the other sensor recently.
No reason to buy a new one.
Exclusive sensors cost more.

There is this guy from Italy on twitter.
His posts always turn out true.
He says " do not hold your breath about cameras, hardware is limited, software is s*****."
Now I see he is right again. So, OP partners with a cam brand for colour science, but delivery too warm tones.
Look how the asian woman is yellow, none there is this way. Scene is bit underexposed.

I am quite curious. More of the software side of processing than the hardware, as it was the Achilles heel of previous OnePlus phones.
Hopefully they will not only put a good hardware there, but they will know how to use it properly.

I can bet this phone will replace OnePlus 8 in the "Top 10 by fans" even with the lower score(just like OnePlus 7 Pro vs 8 Pro) What is the sense to call this POLL "BY FANS" if you decide not fans which phone is hotter?
