The security threat allegations are now removed.

We're non military, non communist Chinese company, but we still won't prepare one phone which doesn't phone our servers... including Google AndroidOne phones.

The US Gov would then realise how much money they are losing and no investment in the US

Lets hope Huawei get the ban removed as they have no evidence of anything, and are willing to work with companies and the US

Realistically the chance that there will be a war is highly unlikely in the future in strong leading countries like China and USA obviously excluding middle Eastern Asia and

For those thinking Huawei might be next to get a reprieve, the important difference is that unlike Xiaomi, Huawei also sells critical telecommunications infrastructure. So they're perceived to be a way bigger natsec threat.

Hopefully this will have an impact on the anti-Huawei sanctions as well.

              Investors don't count?

" Do you think China is planning some sort of attack on the USA? Why would they do so and what benefit would this serve? If China attacked the USA, they would come off a poor second with the military might at the disposal of America. "

Can you predict the future? How do you know what choice each side would preemptively take if it would to come to such a scenario?

Ramo333, 15 Mar 2021When did it ever "go away" exactly? You're right, it hasn't but there was talk that Google services would be pulled like with huawei after America blacklisted them.

Age long Samsung Galaxy user here ( had the S2,S3 ,S4 active, Note4, Note7, Note9 and briefly the Note20 Ultra 5G ) and I'm growing tired of Samsung antics and am starting to look elsewhere. I've been disappointed with notoriously poor quality voice / video calls / connections whether it's on a carrier tower or WIFI not to mention weaker signal overall. Removed software features, unnecessary notifications like listening at a high volume may damage your ears....wow not your job to lecture me Samsung... was that such an important piece of code to bloat the ROM even further?

Poor sound quality from the 3.5mm jack ( vs my sold LG V20 ) and speakers altogether.

Even a cheap Alcatel had more WIFI bars than my Note9 in the same spot...

So now I have evidence China based phones have rock solid, thicker and probably longer antennas with more power so it makes you think where quality of components exist though any other UI other than OneUI 1.0 or Oreo which was prior to that is not to my liking however and so it's quite hard for me as I also require a Micro SD card with at least a 1440p screen.

                  Life is hard.

Anonymous, 15 Mar 2021So, is Google coming back to Xiaomi or not (just yet)??When did it ever "go away" exactly?

                      People do not read news.

This is because Xiaomi founder/ceo got an award from chinese government for his services in the past.
It has nothing to do with cellphones.

Anonymous, 15 Mar 2021Wait, they don't? Does this mean you can't Xiaomi... moreWell...yes and no. If they have the basic bands 2, 4, 12, and 17), you can use them on AT&T and T-Mobile. However, with both companies getting rid of 2G/3G in the near future, all phones under their network will HAVE to use VoLTE/VoWifi to function with calls and text. If you have T-Mobile, at least they have the Digits app. If you have AT&T, you may have to get a data-only plan while paying for a Digits or Google Voice number.
