Sony Xperia Pro has the largest vapor cooling chamber in a phone yet

15 March 2021
JerrryRigEverything has taken apart his fair share of gaming smartphones - none had a vapor chamber as large as this one.

Imagine a 2021 dedicated gaming phone from Sony... They already have a solid enhanced software for gaming in the mark II series... And they already excel at cooling in the Pro... They just need to implement a second "2-stages camera button" on the top left side and enable them to be used as shoulder buttons...
    One can dream

It can easily handle hot weather, 5G broadcast and 4K screen while connected to cameras.

It's worth noting that the reason why the vapour chamber HAS TO BE this large is most likely because the entire phone is made out of plastic (though there is still a thin metal sheet covering the motherboard + battery for a structural integrity) therefore it would suffer from a terrible thermal dissipation without it releasing the heat from the display side. The largest chamber does not guarantee at all that this phone will have a better thermal management than general-consumer oriented high end phones let alone gaming phones.

If Sony did not create such phones that highly encourages users to take over the camera controls and creatively produce their own desired results according to their intention, then what's the purpose of making another phone that literally functions exactly the same way as basically every other smartphone out there?
Thanks to Sony, we actually do get variations of smartphones that cater to different types of people.
Forget that stupid noisy dude who claims bullsh*t statements as if he really knows everything, when he even fails to realize that this phone is NOT the same type as the other typical smartphones, but gives off a final judgement based on the biased takes of paid YouTube artists a.k.a. "fake" enthusiasts.

But hey, thanks to his hate comment against this phone, we now know how limited his knowledge is. LOL.

It's for prosumers and professionals who prefer to have total manual control on their smartphone camera while leaving the heavy DSLR camera behind. It's the same story as the Nokia 9 PureView - only in RAW format with total manual control where you can produce great-looking photos. If you only want to point and shoot, just buy a Pixel or an iPhone, full stop.

Considering that the Xperia Pro is meant for serious photographers and videographers, I'm not surprised to see this. After all, they don't spend a short time doing photo shoots and video recordings, so an efficient cooling system is definitely necessary.
