I can't keep a budget for more than 3 years, my Redmi Note 5(SD636) from 2018 became very slow after 2 years.
Meanwhile flagships stay smooth after 3 years, the only problem is usually battery deterioration.

I ve used wave 525 and moto 1st gen before buying the oneplus 5. On wave 525, i was literally unable to use it after 3yrs because the hardware was outdated and i had to literally wait for a minute for apps to open. Same case with moto g. Even though there were no issues per se the phone becomes unusable after 3yrs in the case of a budget phone.

Premium price doesn't always mean great quality.

oneplus doesn't had any bloadware at all

Two years of warranty should be a universal standard.
If you are confident about your product quality, then two years of warranty is a must.
Especially for expensive headphones, phones and iPhones.

I myself haven't had any issues with oneplus phones I've had the 6t the 7t mclaren edition and now the 8t 5g and I will eventually get the 9 pro.they have always responded well for me only thing I would complain about with all the one plus phones I've had would be the quality of the camera but then again I really don't do much photo taking so it doesn't effect me much I wish they would provide longer software support but overall I think there pretty good phones

Buying one plus is horrible. With in six months your phone will lose its relevance and probably you will never get an software update. Plese think twice before buying.

Pete Lau might be correct about most flagship buyers keeping their phone for about two years before upgrading, but I definitely know that there a lot of people out there who still use a flagship phone for more than two years because they see no need to upgrade. A friend of mine still holds to his Samsung Galaxy S10 that he bought brand new to this day because he's not impressed by the fact that Samsung has dropped the 3.5mm audio jack starting with the Note10 and Note10+. There's also another friend of mine who is still not considering of upgrading from her current Google Pixel 3 because newer Pixels doesn't have a secondary ultrawide front camera. Basically, it all depends on someone's personal preference.

If the phones have other recurring problems which require warranty to repair then they shouldn't call their phones flagships.

Anonymous, 15 Mar 2021bad ? they release OS update first !so the new NORD line up will get only 1 OS update, is that great? OP8 Pro I am pretty sure it will die with Android 11 as well.

[deleted post]You're obviously selling your iPhones through the wrong channels. NEVER exchange it through official western retail channels. Anything with a strong Chinese "presence" will take your phone for a reasonable price.
