AnTuTu bans Realme GT for three months over score-boosting allegations

Since you bought the top spec, you have 4 extra Gigs of RAM to push the benchmark with, and as such, you get a higher score. By how much compared to the 12 GB model, I do not know.

      The day many of you realize Antutu scores every chip, modem, component or whatever in your smartphone SOC and what that even means, you’d understand why snapdragons dominate Antutu and why I don’t even see it as a proper benchmark. Their methods makes sense, but it allows for unnecessary points that don’t necessarily indicate performance and most importantly cheating, u don’t even need to cheat the old fashioned way anymore, just force all the load to the big cores. If logs are available for what goes into which cores, they probably give points per core.
      It’s really ridiculous how these reviewers and forums have driven so much hype on a lot of things without even educating people properly, sometimes understanding how things work is even more important than the numbers and specs they shove down our throats, now you have a bunch of fanboys who yell about Chinese phones doing 700k+ on Antutu but can’t beat an Apple chip in a real world case use or even Geekbench, better still they dismiss Geekbench as frauds when real world use and processing clearly favors Apple.
      Antutu is like... we can’t beat the best so let’s create our own competition where our own rules make you a winner, then the same cheats are sanctioning better rule benders for doing exactly what they do

So I suggest ready it again and try to understand.

            That is why I'm not outright buying into this phone's price tag. It just sounds too good to be true when looking at the spec sheet. Still, let's just wait and see Realme's official response to this report.

                That's why an tu tu is flawed and the phones that are in top 10 always from some Chinese brands they always cheat to get a high scores as if it's going to make their sales better

                  This is why I will never use a china brand.
                  They lie about everything that they can.
                  Who-a-who was caught lying about multiple things on multiple occasions:
                  - they were stating that their phones had USF internal storage when in reality they were actually using ancient eMMC technology. People from XDA developers forum discovered this by accident while trying to do benchmarks.
                  - they were caught lying AT LEAST 3 times about the fact that the photos used in their commercials were taken with their phones, when in reality they were made with high-end professional DSLR cameras that cost thousands of dollars.
                  - they were caught STEALING photos from the internet from professional photographers and said those were made by them, with their phones, never paying royalties to those photographers.
                  -now, another chinese brand gets caught lying in benchmarks!
                  And this was just what people found by accident! Most of their brands do this, but being cheap brands nobody really pays attention to them.
                  If you are ok using a replica phone, that state one thing on paper, but in reality you get a totally different thing, go ahead.
                  I would never use one, not to mention pay for it!

It being not optimized for A14 argument was valid when it was launched where it was giving below 40fps on average. After optimization, it gets 45fps Max. Actually it gets 60fps just like Snapdragon 888 devices, but only limited for the first 5 minutes. After that it drops to 45fps average as it has no dedicated cooling.

                          Nothing to do with optimization, everything to do with Apple failing to put any dedicated cooling inside. S21 Ultra (Exynos) also scores average 45-50fps as it doesn't have dedicated cooing.

                          I never said Apple was cheating in benchmarks. All I said is that Apple's score in GeekBench and WildFire are useless as a lot of other things matter when it comes to overall device performance.

                          Saying that A14 is better than Snapdragon 888 because of higher WildFire scores is complete BS. Snapdragon 865 or Snapdragon 888 has no such issues running Genshin Impact at above 50fps despite it scoring lower in WildFire test.

                            Anonymous, 17 Mar 2021The story doesn't make sense off how and what they or ... moreFor example, you are in a math calculation contest, realme here is not doing all the questions correctly, instead of giving the correct answer, its only giving a rough answer, such as 23+21, it should be 44, but realme is saying its 40 and moving ahead. As the judge didnt double check the answer, only checking rough answers, it takes way less time for realme to complete the test.

                            This is basically what is happening in the test. Realme isnt processing all the data correctly, instead just doing rough processing and moving ahead to save time and get higher scores.

                              Antutu and other cheetah mobile's apps already been banned in google play store because of how sketchy they were. So this news is kinda pointless. And antutu uses synthetic benchmark which isn't reliable. People should use 3dmark instead

                                  Because, I'm getting 795.000 on my S21ULTRA 16gb Ram, with custom ROM and Kernel's with overclocked CPU GPU, at 3.2mhz, and 2.9mhz and 2.5mhz and GPU at 1100mhz.
                                  It's Exynos...

                                      This game is clearly not optimized for iOS.
                                      Only stupid people will compare cross platform performance based on only one game.

                                      Besides there is a very easy way for US citizen. If you can prove Apple is cheating you can definitely file a lawsuit against Apple.
