Another fail from Xiaomi. 4500Mah battery on a gaming device with SD888...I bet it will lack 3.5mm jack again too.

Asus Rog is an infinitely better option.

Anonymous, 17 Mar 2021it would be really really good if they actually release all... moreThere's a very legitimate reason they don't sell these in the US.

The competition for phones here is dominated by Apple, Samsung, OnePlus and LG. In order to have a reasonable amount of sales, they would need to spend some money marketing them here. They also need to spend money certifying the device with the FCC for North American bands, which also costs money. This is typically why the SoC has tons of supported bands but Chinese phones only have a few (it's not free to have them all enabled!).

Given the costs just to make some sales in North America, it's just not worth it for companies with already razor thin margins.

it would be really really good if they actually release all of their devices globally. so these north american people could actually get their words on these, and not just those paid indian-british dude and those who get paid get their words.

i bet they would actually sell whole lot of phones if they release it globally, not just on the asian market and the european market.
