[deleted post]” iOS is for people who get swayed away by marketing and who have no choice.
Apple also attracts buyers for its logo, most of them buy it for the logo.
If you pack sh*t inside an Apple smartphone box, these guys will eat it calling it yummy, just because it is from Apple”
You guys keep saying this ridiculous thing and yet HomePod wasn’t big success. Or the Apple TV box. Or the Mac compared to iOS ecosystem devices. Or what about iPhone 12 mini? Apple iOS devices sell because they are great and offer really simple and enjoyable user experience for majority. Logo of course helps selling products. That’s called brand recognition. Every company needs that to sell anything and how you get it? By making great products year after year which people like to use. Look LG, Sony or HTC smartphone sales, they all have lost the brand name to sell their phones, why? Because their products weren’t worth of price. How you think Apple could sell bad products year after year and having by far most loyal users? Wake up man and stop the nonsense :D

Oh yeah the major upgrade for iOS in 2020 was widgets and app drawer.
Things that existed on Android decade back.
You are getting a illusion of major upgrades. In reality it is copied stuff from Android n late to their userbase.
Keep your ancient iOS without proper file management to yourself.
IOS will match up to miui from year 2020 in the year 2035. That's how outdated it is.
Even Android 2.3 will embarrass latest iOS.

Why "Apple users" are more loyal?
1. The 'familiarity' of the UI; believe it or not, nowadays many people are too lazy to 'learn' new things, including 'how to use different Android UIs'.
2. The 'trap' called convenience when u have ALL Apple-made products; nowadays many people are too lazy to 'learn' new things, including 'how to connect / pair Android to PC, TWS, Wearable gadgets, etc'. Apple made ALL their device connected 'seamlessly' & 'effortless' to make people lazy, therefore won't think twice to buy overpriced Apple products.
3. The 'delusion' called 'security' which has been Apple's Marketing for years. IF u r not lazy enough, u could open Utube to watch how Snowden reveal that iOS is more vulnerable than AndroidOS, additionally it has backdoors 'pre-installed' in ALL new iphones & older ones that still get updates (He mentioned 6s which is old enough, but still get updates, as an example).
4. The 'delusion' called 'superiority' over Android;
many iTrolls says "Apple 'perfected' Android feature", "Apple implements 'ripened' tech"
which shows that many iTrolls have 'superiority complex', while in real world, EVERY tech-savvy worth their salt knows how 'limited' & 'restricted' iOS were designed since 2007.
5. The 'delusion' called 'high resale price'.
If u understand economics, nothing but Gold & jewelries have 'high resale value'.
So, how could Apple create this 'high resale value' phenomenon? Build people mindset, by marketing, that "apple = jewelrer' by making it 'exclusive' (no other OEM use iOS), have long support (5 years update with incremental update annually), have high price tag (naturally, people associate high pricing to hi-quality), offer replacement (with certain condition applied), and tons more.
Why I know this? because we talk about this in my class; my professor NEVER buy ANY Apple-related products mostly because of the facts above; 'u'll become 'stupid' if u let A COMPANY control ur money & needs; oftentimes u don't need the product but u buy it anyway, because ur 'mindset' are already under their control' (homepod, airpods, magsafe, watch, 999$ mac stand 'pro', etc)

Imagine an ipad pro with all of it's hardware features(promotion, pencil support...) in tact and a headphone jack, but it ran mac os with the added benefit of having access to the whole iphone and ipad app stores, that would be a killer product, mac os and it's hardware are closer than ever to the internals of the ipad, so hopefully we get it in the near future

Anonymous, 18 Mar 2021Exactly. We are still at the doors of ARM's future pot... moreGenshin Impact?
LOL, what r u smoking? bath Salt?
Genshin Impact & 99% of PlayStore games relies heavily on GPU, not CPU.
Not only that, since Cortex A72, every newer iteration produce higher & higher heat, making OEM resorted to 'liquid cooling', since cooper & thermal paste can't do shit anymore (remember SD810? If OEM re-use that SoC with current cooling tech, it could overtook SD821)
and, everyone knows that ARM's Mali is a joke compared to Adreno & NVidia, even at high core config.
Only 1% games relies on CPU, but not Genshin Impact, else, old but still powerful MediaTek MT6595 or Intel Z3580 in Zenfone 2 could run it.
