The camera samples are decent, only problem is they have clearly been edited- this is using the 12 bit Raw output and is what professionals would do. So what they have done is use an external lens attached to the back, to focus light onto the camera sensor, used 12-bit output and then edited. Don't get me wrong it can be done using the smartphone but this is not what the average person will get out of it. If you look at the first photo in the desert, there are no shadows and the top left is easily visible so they've done that in post, by editing. The images with rocks have clealy been sharpened and the colors/ saturation altered on the water-droplet on glass and flower images are noticeably different. I mean what do you expect, it's a phone not a DSLR.

Maybe it is just me but I expected better shots, I was not blown away looking at the samples.
OP has been traditionally pretty average in the photography department, hopefully things will improve.

I don't think they're cheating anyways since the avg score for SD 888 is 7000000 and OP only scored 650000+. If they do, the number should be relatively higher

I should put better, to be honest: Shot on Sony photo sensor of the OnePlus, with Hasselblad surface lens treatment. NOT: Shot on OnePlus x Hasselblad.

Oneplus3 user, 18 Mar 2021Finally oneplus is upping their camera game. They already did last year with the OP8 pro by being on par with other flagships.
With gcam, it destroys all other flagships on the market in low light performance.

Photo colours are good, but the details are very water colour like. Smartphone lenses need to move away from plastic and also probably the glass that is used in ILCs. They need to use something that resolves a lot more, since the size of the pixels is much smaller.

Actually 3nm had a higher chance of leakage. Electrons are harder to control the smaller you go

Camera samples aren't really impressive tbh. One more disappointing flagship, fingers crossed for the next big hope (Mi 11 Pro)
