I remember Nokia 9 pure view taking the same path. At that time I was laughing because the images provided by tech sites like GSM were almost on par with Poco F1. Everyone at that time said that I was wrong, the photographer payed by Nokia is an expert etc.
Hope for us(competition is very good) that this camera is a good one because 1+ will be hit very hard if the output is not in top 3.

If this picture is not edited by anyone from the company then is really good pictures taken from OP 9 series. Hoping is for real OP, because the OP8T camera sucks! that is why I sold it after 3 weeks of use, no complain on usability and 120hz screen there but camera is having auto focus issue that is why I sold it right away even I loss some money.

One do... moreOMG why are u always whining about stuff? First, it's about the bloatware, next it's the ROG phone without ip rating, then u r complaining abt the minor upgrades on xperia 1 iii when it's still a RUMORS and last, abt this thing.
1. Get a Pixel or iPhone if you want a bloatware-free device or flash to a custom ROM.
2. ROG is meant for gaming. The name itself stands for Republic of Gaming. It's not a rugged phone.
3. Xperia 1 iii is not announced yet and Sony hasn't revealed anything about it.
4. Before commenting about any other BS, read the whole article first.

lets face it, the 888 isn't what we all expected. maybe 3nm will leak less (less cross talk), thus require less throttling. Although, from what I have read elsewhere, the big changes wont happen until 2.5nm chipsets come.

The phone lost 15% of it's battery while running the test, and throttled so much that, yes it stayed cool but the score is disappointing, doesn't look good at all, but since it's a pre-release unit, whatever.

Definitely needed to improve the cooling from the 8 Pro - mine overheated all the time.
Photos are just OK, a bit like the 8 Pro - let's see if it's any better in real life.

Nothing Spectacular about the images the macro shots has good clarity only at the centre of the image as you pan out of the centre the picture turns soft and looks shaky and soft. The same can be said about the wide angle camera at least from the photographs. The portrait images looks like hit or miss. In the first image the foreground red wall seems to be in focus.
I feel, the camera is going to be mere meh! I don't think except for the lenses Hasselblad has done anything to tweak the quality, just will help in the branding, seems like Oneplus will become irrelevant in a few years. They seem have lost their way when I compare it from and how it started.

this is the best camera available at any phone. Just look at the samples. These were taken by toddlers in moving vehicles running off road. Trust me.
After the phone launches -
Just wait for the updates. This is just a software thing. Trust me. You will get dslr level details. God promise.
