vivo X60 and X60 Pro go international: Snapdragon 870 in, periscope out

The Pro+ is nowhere to be seen yet. As for the other two, there are changes to the chipset, OS and camera.

Perhaps there are patent issues with the Periscope feature, hence the same X60+ China model could not be launched in international markets.

      i could not understand why companies are giving less features as not providing 3.5 mm jack and memory card slot?
      listen most of the people want these features, if somebody don't want to use them don't use.. but features must be provided.
      double sim slot with dedicated memory card slot, 3.5 mm jack, radio, nfc, is must.

          I was really ready to buy one of these, but then they removed the periscope. Ok next..

                Now that's ridiculous!
                The crippling of Huawei has given all these Chinese phone companies an excuse to charge more for less, there's no excuse for this one Vivo is supposed to be the camera-centric BBK brand.
                At least the Chinese versions have better band coverage thus year so importing them is an easier choice, though you then lose the Westernised version of Android.

                  Nothing mentioned about dolby or stereo speakers

                    I'm still scratching my head, why they kick out the periscope lens from the X60 Pro and made it so similar to its "liter" sibling? That's something weird there. And that's kinda unusual they still haven't made their premium halo one, the X60 Pro+ outside China.

I doubt that buy the chinese version is a good choice as they will have different ROMs, which often means that a lot of things are in chinese, not translated, or not work globally as it should.

                            no jack, no 5x, what's the point.
