            they lie about everything and anything(numbers.sales.profits)
            the reason is because the governor of the province should report a good productivity numbers to the communist party to stay in power
            there is an overcapacity in china and billions of bad loans due to this practice

              They sell phones on first-come-first-serve basis.
              First you register on their site. Then, when phones are available, you purchase one (typically they have 1 phone per person limitation).
              1.1 million pre-orders could have been 1.1 million registered users who had a chance to buy the phone.

              300k in 4 minutes is impressive. And Xiaomi mi1s is impressive as well. If I wasn't waiting for Xiaomi MI-2, I'd be buying Xiaomi 1S from a re-seller right now.
