[deleted post]Your phone will start working well after the factory reset. Do a factory reset. You will recover your contacts and photos if they are backed up.

It will erase all your data (which you can easily recover after syncing with your google drive. After that u will have to format your SD Card to work with the new software. The upgrade is actually great. All software will work better after the factory reset

Ave been using my SSD as internal storage, but Since the update for Android 11, I cannot access/ view my WhatsApp status or photos which ave been sent to me through my WhatsApp but if I format the SSD as external the WhatsApp works great,, any help I will appreciate

I'm unable to download any WhatsApp media or send audio. I can't take screenshots. It has wiped out my gallery. I'm messed up right now.

U can follow the youtube link for detailed instructions https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMOt7wftRDA. I think I now have a good feeling about the new update.
So for all those having trouble with the update DO A FACTORY RESET 1ST then solve the other issues as u go. Youtube is loaded with tonnes of remedies. Enjoy your new Android 11

How do I access WhatsApp?Since its a new account you have to download a fresh copy of whatsapp. I had trouble with space so I did a factory reset last night. It reset to Android 11 with all my data deleted but Whatsapp, Camera Screenshots seem to be workings. I am only failing to sync my Whatsapp with my contacts

A quick solution is to create a new user then setup all your Apps and Settings in that new user. I figured it will be safer to use a non-admin account with limited access authorizations than to use the main admin account for daily operations,
Go to Settings - System - Multiple Users. then add a new user
Log in to the new user and download your contacts, settings etc. then you will be able to take snapshots, pictures, download whatsapp media etc

Unable to download anything online either from WhatsApp or telegram or chrome and if I eventually download any audio it will get corrupt, very saddened
