I am disappointed in OnePlus' launch this year, although the OnePlus 9R is "somewhat" of a good choice.(Somewhat because its only in india and the price there too isnt the most desirable). Anyways, if you want a good midranger then just skimp over OnePlus with Xiaomi, poco etc. And if you want a flagship still skimp over OnePlus with samsung, apple, Asus and some others. OnePlus should have thought about thier initial aim moving forward, its ok that they now make flagships but they should never have stopped making flagship killers.

I have been using OnePlus phones for about 5 years now. I have had almost every model that they came up with starting from OnePlus 3. I had OP 3T, OP 5T, OP 6, OP 7, OP 7T, OP 7T Pro McLaren edition, OP 8, and now, I am on OP 8T. I will be honest with you guys, I like their phones, but have to admit that OnePlus 9 is too pricey. So, I am not buying it unless I get a good bargain on it.

Seeing the camera performance from the 9 Pro's full review, no thanks - I'll stick with last year's 8 Pro.

Samsung have tendancy to use low quality components.
Just look, cheap plastic back, exynos etc
see just for profit.
Dont think just because samsung manufactures great display, their own phone will have that great display.
I had many samsung phone, most of them got screen ghosting, yellowing etc.
I also have iphone 7 plus which uses LCD panel, i can assure you that iPhone panel is still top notch than all phone produced that time after long use.
Why iPhone having superior components, it is because apples stringent quality check. Suppliers like samsung,LG deliver best quality components to apple and yes thanks to apple for quality checks so that we get the best long term display (not only display,everything best) in the apple.

goodbye oneplus.They have become exactly what they aimed to destroy to begin with.
If you're going to pay for brand power at least go Samsung and be protected from any geopolitical shenanigans that may be aimed at Chinese brands. If you're not afraid of that, just go and get a Xiaomi, especially in the midrange.

I'd rather buy a used 7t pro for 300 bucks than the 9 series.
The 7t pro was the last of the great OnePlus phones

OnePlus 9 Pro series is much better alternative to Galaxy S21 series in most parts of the world except US due to the pricing.
Having said that.... I won't be buying it... I have my eyes set on the MI 11 Ultra.

Why is the OnePlus 9 so hated? Unlike the Pro, it offers perfect value for its price and gives 95% for 240$ less.
