Funny thing - Their motto is never settle... but the settled completely. Why everybody needs to have curved screen with a hole in it and no audio jack? I remember times when a single dead pixel could have been considered annoying, and now you have a hole in the screen and it's fine?

    Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra please

I would've gone for the 9r considering its price and features, but then vivo released its x60 series and i have to say regular vivo x60 is better than oneplus 9r in almost every way.

STE FAR 05, 28 Mar 2021The results were taken by people that didn't know the ... moreYes it puts hell of a fight but loses on every aspect other than price. But for price/value conscious people there are so many other options available as well.

A lot of feature to make it look appealing, but the midrange is so good that the price look silly. I'm so eager to hear about the pixel 5a. The A52 has amazing hardware, of the pixel can hold up, OnePlus' price will really look silly. And so does the s21.

OnePlus died after 6T and OP9 is just another phone that was supposed to be at least 30% cheaper on launch to be a relevant choice. It would have made sense if the camera was as revolutional as they hyped it, but as it stands there is literally no reason to pick it over e.g. Galaxy S21/S21+ which are cheaper and don't embarrass themselves with 2MP macro camera.

STE FAR 05, 28 Mar 2021Which country? Don't mind if I ask. I'm in the UK... moreI'm guessing America. They're really aggressive with the pricing and discounts over there, too the extent that they're still backlogged on the Ultra.

STE FAR 05, 28 Mar 2021The results were taken by people that didn't know the ... moreActually u can find the Ultra for $1000 in the US and in my region it's $1200 with the buds pro which cost around $150 to $200 if sold separately. So both phones are almost the same price. The 9 pro should be compared to the S21+, then it's a fair comparison.

I prefer a72 instead or wait for a72 5g. Better camera.

STE FAR 05, 28 Mar 2021The results were taken by people that didn't know the ... moreNot the S21 Ultra but to the vanilla S21, and the latter can be bought for 650€ in here or less, so I don't think anyone in his right mind would buy the Oneplus 9 pro for €1k+

Even though the early trends are quite predictable, I'm waiting to see the final % after a few days.
I was really looking fwd to the 9R, but as stated, it's basically exactly the same as 8T with a name-change and priced the same (I expected a HP jack since it was meant to be targeted towards gamers from leaks), so all you'd be getting is another year of updates at best. It's really disappointing. They hardly ever discount their phones, samsung is much better in this respect.

Oneplus has had enough of Hasselblad and the Moon. Oneplus only lives by selling smoke with their advertising and their big HYPER. It seems more like a marketing brand than a good phone brand. Because Oneplus has high technology, but with very bad materials, for example the screens. They don't solve the issues for example of the 8PRO, because it's a hardware defect. For me OnePlus is already going downhill at full speed without a seatbelt. By the way, are NOT Hassleblad optics, are only Hasslebad software LOL. And a little filter treactment over lens not manufactured by Hassleblad. And sony sensors not HBlad. LOL. Lies, lies, lies... with, YOUR MONEY.

But people who has enough money to spend 1k+ will stick to trusted brands like Apple or Samsung even though they are more expensive.

In that sense, OP9pro seems costly. Also, there are more options in the same price range or even cheaper.

The results were taken by people that didn't know the value of the phone . . . at all. I mean come on, they compete it with the S21 Ultra but it's a lot less, and it puts a hell of a fight.

The results to the poll sure are predictable!
