OnePlus tapped Hasselblad to lend some name recognition for its cameras - but can the 9 series compete against the major players?

Ultra Online is a 4-month-old website with unknown ownership that already has hundreds of online reviews saying to be cautious about the website and that the website does not seem to be legit, many people have ordered items from the website only to find that their order hadn't been delivered, with no delivery tracking available, and nonexistent customer support. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE.

    The oneplus 9 series is just a prime example of failed potential

    None of it's specs are class leading or at the very least do any of the specs get utilized in a way that makes it stand out except maybe it's price

    Hyped up LTPO OLED with poor batter life
    Hyped up cameras that older phones already compete with


    This series is for areas with poor/limited smartphone options

          The whole thing has been a massive disappointment so far, OP hyped up this 9 to no end and did NOT deliver.

            OnePlus did a satisfactory job in making their 9 Pro a complete package. But this time, they fell in their own trap. They made lofty promises regarding 9 series camera and failed miserably to live up to their own promise. It has resulted in making the 9 series look like a poor choice in comparison to Samsung Galaxy S20 series.

              It's kinda hard to take them seriously now that carl pei is gone. It may be part of the marketing but he brought an enthusiast who gives a s**t feeling about the product. The timing of his exit is very punctual. He tolerated the nord but left before the N somethings came out maybe because he was embarassed that they would only get one major os update. What would make these better than oppo and vivo?

                For me, OnePlus never bringing back the headphone jack and not putting in a MicroSD card slot after seeing the positive reaction from the cheaper Nord phones getting it will always be my problem with this brand.

                It's not like they have a 512GB version for me to enjoy.

                    Overpriced trash that no one buys anyway. They've massively reduced their operations in Europe as they are irrelevant. With this pricing they are making sure they stay irrelevant

                      U might aswell buy the samsung s20 series.. better display, better camera, better battery etc..

                      oneplus is really so overrated and not wroth the money now.. wtf went wrong ??? pure greed...

                            They claimed to have worked with Hasselblad to improve its image quality, but we saw little to no improvements at all from its predecessor, and if anything, it might actually be even worse depending on the user's taste in picture quality (cleaner but softer vs. sharper but noisier).

                            Speaking of competing with the S21 Ultra, Samsung promises at least 3 years worth of system support for this phone, and maybe it might even go for 4 years as well if we are to take Samsung's promise for granted.
                            And would you look at that massive difference in battery performance between the two! I'm definitely willing to pay £200 more for better cameras, better software support, SIGNIFICANTLY better battery life, more reliable customer service, arguably better display, and maybe better resale value as well in case that I want to sell it to buy a new one.

                            Being able to keep up alone doesn't make it worthy enough to consider it over the S21 Ultra, especially if the price difference is just £200. I mean, if someone is really looking forward to purchase a thousand dollar phone, then they might as well just give it all out £200 more for a totally better overall package of a phone. I'm sure as hell that they do have enough extra cash to shell out when buying a premium product, otherwise they wouldn't even consider buying a flagship right from the start.

But if you look at it properly, OnePlus 9 Pro's camera outdoes A72 and the S20 had many errors making it not worth it.

                                      STE FAR 05, 28 Mar 2021The results were taken by people that didn't know the ... moreOneplus is taking the heat for the messed up things they did to their fan base in the past like for example: letting the Oneplus 2 phones with no support full of bugs and letting the Oneplus 5/5T more than half a year with no response and software with bugs+deleted features.
                                      When they treat people, their fan base, that have been faithful like this, sooner or later they gonna be punished.
                                      Plus, if you compare with the S21 Ultra that you can buy almost at the same price, The Samsung is superior: Gorilla Glass Victus, Stylus support, superior camera package, samsung dex, reverse wireless charging and guaranteed 3 year OS updates and 4 year security updates. Oneplus is only 2 years and sometimes fails...

                                        Bust. In America your choice is Apple or Samsung for high end, Motorola or Samsung for low end. OP should exit the American market
