Oneplus don't let me preorder Op 9 (don't want the pro),and nobody in my country has one for sale!
That's a big minus for them, for this customer service i really don't want a Oneplus anymore!
This is second time I had issues with them!

OnePlus 9 is a real concurent at his price on 2021 market, I can't named other product if people ask me what to buy at this price! Hope they sell more than others this year!

In reality ... moreThe software support policy Samsung is performing now is just what they should be doing since 2014. With that high volume of sales and money earned, Samsung has much more conditions to give support.
After the 24th month, no company is gonna give monthly patch.
Updates start to be every 3 months, then 4 months, 6 months until it stops.

Well since they are now full Oppo phones it's not surprising. But I'd still rather have a oneplus phone with less sales and awesome all around phone than have Oppo phone with more sales and its worse than the last Carl pei oneplus phone (oneplus 8 Pro)

In reality Oneplus updates is very good only the first year of the device, after that you can expect a string of delays and bugged releases . Look what happened with 5T that left owners months with critical bugs after (finally) updating to android 10 .
On my OP6 I had a 8 months interval with no security update at all.
I really liked my Oneplus devices because their value and i never really cared about selfies and photography in general but after buying twice my next device won't be OP as their value is much worse, updates haven't really improved, in fact now deciding to have two variant of the OS (Color os in china ) will likely spell even more delays.

It’s hard to trust these Chinese companies, they always talk about high pre orders or flash sales without showing actual numbers or statistics.
This could mean 1+9 had 50 preorders day one, while 1+8 had 15 pre orders in 2020 and call it “preorders was 3 times more”.
Meanwhile Samsung and Apple actually shows proper numbers and statistics.
