LineageOS ain't what it whose (early death begin with CM end while final nail in the chest whose when most worthwhile programmer's left and Indian's took over, about 3 years ago), Google also contributed significantly to that. AOSP is practically dead only leftovers from Sony which no one (unfortunately use) can be found today. Xda today is only a adds sponsorship site not a forum or a community. Once progressive One+ software (thanks to independent developer's) is today plagued with bug's and problems (thanks to One+) and only Samsung is worser regarding firmwares. If you want software buy Sony, if you want hardware buy Xiaomi. Day's of free ride regarding good software on the ROM side is long over (because you didn't appreciated it enough and people who brought it to you got tired of it).

Otherwise all android sa... moreAre you serious? From what I've seen OxygenOS has an even more aggressive background app killing than MIUI, which is already known to be quite aggressive. Is that what you'd call 'optimization'? OxygenOS doesn't deviate that much from stock android, yet why does it require so much app killing?
And have you ever ACTUALLY used both, for that matter? IMO in terms of overall user experience, MIUI is second only to OneUI.

Since realme was the fifth largest oem last quarter in chine and it had 2% of the market. So yeah no one cares about oneplus in china

Only section where is fight is software optimization and here Oxygen OS light years ahead from miui.

whatever revolution Xiaomi does,they have to lower flagship prices in order to compete with apple and samsung. otherwise,xiaomi cannot sell any flagships outside of China. simple as that.

World tech giants are absolutely right to decrease their dependance on US based suppliers. You never know what next freak US leader will do. Next step should be to stop using any Google products to avoid backdoors and tracking. Xiaomi's teaming up with Huawei on Harmony OS or something similar will make alot of sence. Joint app store could also benefit both.
