Yes, Sharp tried it first, but that doesn't undermine Xiaomi's boldness - the Mi Mix tried new things, which made it exciting (even if some didn't work).

Personally I had the Mi Mix 3 for a while, and the slider was a great 'solution' IMO.

See, THIS was a time when you can determine where a phone was from just by looking at it. I'm more of a Zenfone/OnePlus 8 Pro/ROG guy myself but this was a nice design. The battery life even scored better than BBK's lineup for this year.
