Good. This moron is responsible for all those shitty midrangers and half assed devices.

I'm using nokia 8.1 from one and half year but I feel the phone is getting slower day by day also no android 11 update till now as compared to Chinese brands.. Also stock android interface is very boring and lacks feature, I don't understand why reviewers are in favour of stock android interface.. Mostly they are customers of iPhone.. Nokia is lost in the game.. They no more innovative brand like before..

Not a bright future for HMD made Nokia phones I presume. The last good/great phones were the 7.1/8.1 imo

15 years, at a top level job, he banked and had interesting time doing so, good for him. I for one hope nokia keeps the momentum going. the market is now getting even more competitive.

I hope he starts his own startup company. I wish him the best!

The best from HMD, 9 Pureview, fail to impress.

And flooded with bunch of mid rangers that cannot compete with others after that.

Goodbye, Nokia needs to refresh its strategy.

It was bound to happen, the collapse is near once again as a smartphone maker

I wonder why people here blame Nokia for what HMD does when Nokia has zero part in this.
They just rent name to help boost sales.
                          Not involved in the projects.

I guess he grew tired of promoting lackluster phones.

                              snapdragon 480, Helio p22 ...

what a bitter fate for Nokia

I wonder what Juho's next direction will be. One of his old Nokia colleague, Ari Partinen, has left Apple and now returned to Microsoft albeit under the Surface division this time.

He may have given up because execs wouldn't hear him, or he may have been ejected for being a failure. Who knows? Nobody in this comment section for sure.
What we do know is that Nokia has been a disappointment in the last couple of years, basically after their success in 2018 and early 2019.
The biggest failures were the 9 Pureview, and refusal to unlock bootloaders on all their devices. Is Sarvikas responsible for this? Who knows?

The guy must have come to his senses and realized that HMD Global has lost the smartphone market and thought "Eff this, I'm done". Good for him.

                                      Hmmmmmm.....
