You can easily add features on stock Android just like Google does it with their Pixel phones. HMD decided not to that to save money on software development. Their explanation was that they wanted to provide clean Android experience but that is not true. They just want to make it simple to save time and money.

Now let's see who will go to the release events to lie and fool people about their marvellous phones with dated specs that beat any flagship phone at any task. Their KaiOS and Android Go 128Mb - 1Gb special phones. And their crap cameras that magically do in their eyes the best photos you can imagine...
They need someone to sell their new super G10 Mediatek P22, 720p display for 140 euros!!! Or their hyper X20 special with SD480 for 365 euros!!! Premium, premium... How many of them do you want to buy?

Now they are on par with what ever brand in the market and only cause of Huavei cant have google dont mean nothing as it was same price range with similar hardware like any other brand name like Samsung, Sony and so on

HMD just got to milk long know for it's quality brand Nokia and sell trash to there customers with a premium price. While Xiaomi have been with the moto of sell premium hardware for trach phones price

Hope they release good phone this year. The chip shortage could help them if competitor are sold out. And Chinese phone now have a bad reputation since the USA banned huawei and India is in political war with them. It is this year or never.

Hmd is the youngest and smallest amoung them.... Samsung with its size and money still out source.... There exist no major manufacturer that is as heavily dependent on ODM as HMD Global. 89% of Nokia devices (HMD ones) are built by a Chinese ODM, with Nokia's logo slapped on the rear.

HMD design most of the phones (few are ODM).
Nokia does not. It is dumb to blame Nokia for the bad phones made by HMD.

He has been involved for a long time with Nokia and HMD, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. Last years they lost some momentum, I hope they will launch more innovative phones and continue with the same quality they already deliver.
