I'm hoping that Poco stick with an lcd screen and add in a 5g chip in its X series phones like in the X4 or X5 with something like the 870 and that would be me sorted for next 4-5 years as I absolutely love my Poco X3 NFC and don't plan on upgrading it for next couple of years at least.

      You want sources from overall display technology namely TVs.. especially pointing out the use of OLED needing to use ABL to suppress brightness, and using heatsinks to prevent organic components from damage from heat caused by brightness and it's organic nature

I feel like we in the minority to the 'oled only' supporters club! LCD screens to my eyes are clearer, brighter and like you say don't use any more battery than oleds. In fact if you use a bright background then oleds actually consume more battery. (Interesting about the LG g5 screen I didn't know that one was an LCD) One of the main reasons I bought the Poco X3 NFC apart from its amazing price to specs was the fact it had an LCD screen and coming from an oled it's so much better to use.

                    You can understand what this brand is doing: It brings 4-5 phones from the same family to the market but they are incomplete. It would only be complemented by 1 if it had everything the others lacked. But they don't because then it would cost much more: 108 megapixels, NFC, stereo, qualcomm chip, amoled screen and 5G. None of them have all this at the same time. Only you can find it if buy all together in 1. They are smart. They want to cover a large price spectrum in the market.

                      Imagine how toxic oled fans have become, honestly of you say you prefer LCD people honestly think your trolling people are basically offended for your LCD preference..

                      And the oled craze is so bad people actually believe oled screens are brighter , they even speed misinformation about LCD automatically having worse battery life

I don't get why everyone suddenly wants oled screens, they hurt my eyes, give me a headache and definitely suffer burn in. Apart from that LCD screens are sharper and just plain look better in my opinion. And I've said this on a few comments now that Nokia made an awesome AOD on an lcd screen on the Lumia 920 (it was called glance screen, look it up on YouTube) and 5hat was back in 2012/13 which had no more affect on battery than an oled AOD. Hope more handsets use LCD screens as it's one of the things in my decision in purchasing a phone.

                          Anonymous, 27 Mar 2021i hope Poco X4 series will use Snapdragon 5G chipset,, Po... more??, Poco X3 pro is now using sd 860, the logical choice would be Sd 870, the chip that handles F3.
                          Companies would not miss the chance to use SD 870 as this is going to be the bench mark of a mid tier 5g phones from now on. I will not be suprised if the poco M4 would use the new SD 480 , which is a 5g and a more logical choice between older SD 750 and SD 765

                                    People worship oled so much that they don't mention rainbowing at an angle with oled screens especially cheaper ones


                                    As for why people are worshippers of oled you can thank youtube influencers for that they get free phones on the regular and don't have to keep their oled phones for too long to face what the average joe would suffer in the future

                                    So they just praise it and move on then the viewers just assume their experience would be the same

                                      So there be 2 verisons of note 10 ? One with 4G and other 5G ?
                                      Like 5G be Dimensity 700 with LCD screen and weird slow 18w fast charger.
                                      ¤G be SD678 with 60hz AMOLED screen
                                      So basically this note 10 and 5G version both nothing special.
                                      Poco x3 nfo wont get much updates anymore but still better option with pretty much everything better then the 5G version even tough who needs the 5G anyways.
