Does this means Iphone 5 is the fastest among the rest? Wow. I mean I thought it wouldnt be able to beat those likes of LG Optimus G and S III but, well.. I was proven wrong here.

Great performance. BUt how is this gonna make me forget that iphone is and has always been a restricted device that does not suit my usage, and 95% of the world with me, at all? Live my life the way steve jobs visualized clones would live? This is just like a truck, i dont care if Izuzu or Volvo or Man is best, if Izuzu comes out with a 4000 HP truck it doesnt mean anything, i drive a car, not a truck, and i use a normal smartphone, not iphone (or windows phone).

I'm a Samsung Galaxy S3 owner and im proud to be its owner and take pride in it but cant deny whats true. And i must say that apple has really come with great improvements even with dual core and because of their software optimization. It makes me think.. that do you really need Quad Qore When dual core if blended well with the software can give you better performance than it. I will wait till that day when android comes with such power and i hope that Next Galaxy Nexus or Galaxy S4 should come with something which is unbeatable for atleast next generation of its own or any kind. Good job Apple.

I'd consider your argument if the Benchmark was concrete but there isn't any hard evidence to justify these numbers. GL benchmark indicates S3 only runs with 7-8 fps on 1080p?!? Pffft! Please, like that's any realistic at all. And iPhone 5 beat the S3?!? Hah! If you're that geeky and so knowledgeable about benchmarks, you must be a genius. But really, "It doesn't take a genius" to know which one is better, so what happened to you? LOL!

But at this point, its where you would see the biggest jump in real life performance. CPU performance on all platforms compare favorably and is for the most part formidable (with qualcomm probably edging out the rest in terms of overall CPU performance). But when you get right down to it... for real life performance i.e gaming, its the GPU that really matters. Any differences that you see during CPU benchmarks will pass by virtually undetected in real life.

lol! intel atom is coming! and by the way those are fakes! and wp8 is good because of limitations! and tiles are to hide lags! and jellybean will rise every benchmark on android! once you open apps with wp see the lag ( lumia 610 especially!)

Nice results with the new iPhone! However, I would have liked to see more GPU results for the international Galaxy S3 with Mali-400MP instead of Adreno 225 version.

I think some ppl missed the point...
the point is.. iphone5 can match/exceed performances of other higher mhz chips resulting in less BATTERY USAGE than those... the EXPERIENCE is how long u can stay use...

Amazing results. No matter how many more cores and higher clock speed, I asume that the Apple product will always outperform all other products. same as with all religions.

All the apple threads are poluted with android fans and viceversa . Wtf? Do u get payed for trolling? I mean every person buys what he thinks its best for him/her . I admit that there are a lot of sheeps out there that belive everithing they are told , be it from apple or samsung or etc . I dont get the sintetic benkmarsk either...One thing is shown in a benchmark result and other thing its when u psihicaly hold it in ur hands and play with it . I dont like Apple anymore becouse they have started to take their costumers as fools with marketing and etc . Waiting for the intel based motorola . So please stop spamming!

let the apple fan boys be happy for the moment ......samsung galaxy s3 LTE with two gb ram is coming for u guys ...which will double its present performance and will certainly become iphone killer again ....and remember its coming with jelly bean....apple wants patents it doesnt want competition thats why it moves to court like a cry baby every time because it feels threatened by samsung.....hahahahahahaha
