Apple's WWDC 2021 will start on June 7, a free online-only event

30 March 2021
As usual, this software-focused event will introduce the new versions of iOS, macOS and the rest of Apple's operating systems.

Welp, I guess there won't be a new MacBook lineup with the updated processors released in WWDC then. Still worth the wait though IMO.

DAL, 31 Mar 2021As a user of both an Android and iOS device, I can say from... moreWhat do you mean it stops working? Is a problem with the device or what?

Yes true, sometimes IOS can be a little "closed" or hard to interconnect with other devices (like an Android tablet or a windows laptop for example). But, in terms of fluidity and software implementation, beats Android by far. Especially when talking about budget Android phones, which is the majority of what people are buying (sub 400EUR ones).
Not to mention the rapidity of which software updates are granted to the customers. In Android you just need to pray not to have any bug/problem in the software, otherwise you will need to wait until they fixed it.
The only thing good in Android phones are the nice features on paper. But those nice features on paper start to "fade away" after 6-12 months of usage and people don't understand why, lol. The answer is pretty simple, power is nothing without control. Put all the nice features in the world in a 300-400EUR Android phone and then make a bad software implementation and all is for nothing.

DAL, 31 Mar 2021As a user of both an Android and iOS device, I can say from... more” beats iOS anytime in terms of functionality and ease of use. It's logical and intuitive.”

That just shows you have first used Android for long time and got used to how it works. I have exact same feelings about Android, it’s not intuitive and logical at all and i can’t blame why people who actually want something better most choose iPhone because for me iOS feels very intuitive and logical. But again i’ve been using it for many years and i only use Android phone as my work phone because iPhone wasn’t option, so iPhone for me feels familiar. Just like if you would switch from Windows to something else or something new, it would be really hard to adapt that new way to do things if you have done things many years same way.

Apple, 30 Mar 2021WWDC It was always FREE The best or nothing is coming Th... moreWWDC has always been free to watch online. However, the ticket price for developers to attend the keynote, seminars, and one on one sessions that took place over the next few days would cost $1599. That is now free, as developers can just interact with Apple engineers online at no cost during the event.

As a user of both an Android and iOS device, I can say from experience that iOS looks pretty but even the current version (iOS 14) is awful to use. When it stops working, there is no way to know what to fix. On the other hand, Android keeps improving with every version, and in my opinion, beats iOS anytime in terms of functionality and ease of use. It's logical and intuitive.

Anonymous, 30 Mar 2021Already good? LolStill better than Android on some budget devices. Not to mention, that they are some Android phones that didn't received Android 11 yet (and I am talking models that should receive it). Pixel phones have receive it since 7 months ago. Even some newer models have it at least 3-4 months ago out of the box (example OnePlus 8T).
Of course, some Android fanboys will say software is not important (lol, of course is not important, when you don't receive it or you receive it after "n" months).
Or even funnier, they will say a 10 year old Android phone is better than a current iphone (software wise). Lol, they don't even know how a 2 year old Android phone looks like, let alone a 10 year old one. That's how frequently they change their phones (and no, not because they have multiple options, but because their current Android phone usually s**ks after 6 months of using it, lol).
              The end.

Iphone rulz. And the hating speech on this site will not make it any less appealing to its customers. And this will never change, not now, not in 100 years.

So basically a man is losing mooney if he watches the event, just like ive lost a couple of pennies writing this comment.

If iOS 15 will be officially supported for the 2015 iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, I really got to give credit to Apple for seriously taking care of the OS update aspect. Six major OS update for what is basically a 5.5 years old phone? That is completely unheard of! The only Android brand that can pull a similar feat is Fairphone, but even that isn't easy.
