It's the first Snapdragon 780G phone out on the market.

And the plug rotates inside the jack! And you can listen to music and charge the phone at the same time! 8 hours, 12 hours, 16 hours - battery never dies!

Next, decent usb-c headphones are next to nonexistent. Shure tried with $100 cable simply for USB-C plug... as far as I understand, those cables were discontinued rather quickly due to poor quality and frequent failure.

Oh, and don't try rotating the cable in USB-C plug, it will break rather quickly.

Dongles: don't rotate like headphone plug, occupy charging port (you can't charge and listen to music at the same time) and hang from the phone like some frankenstein accessory. They add a breaking point between device and headphones (unplug can happen at two places instead of one). They can lower audio quality (not guaranteed, so you need to do your research), they may (or may not) be compatible with software/hardware combo (audio passthrough, anyone?). So... you're on your own doing a ton of research if it works and how well it works and how to test it in a shop before purchase.

Me, I'll pick a phone with a headphone jack, plug my headphones in the jack and check out audio quality on the spot, end of story. These days any device with a headphone jack has great audio quality (or so it seems) so there's not much in terms of research to do (plug it in, check it out, done in 30 seconds).

So dongles... thanks but no thanks.

Yuri84, 31 Mar 2021"3.5mm headphone jack adapter" - thanks but no th... moreOnly a small group of people gives a dang about the 3.5mm port anymore. It's been gone for years now and it's time for you to get a bluetooth headset like the rest of us.

this phone is by far much better than Samsung A72!!!!!

I loved the days when "Lite" used to mean having all basic specs like FM Radio, microSD card slot and the headphone jack but I guess not anymore...
I'll wait for the Mi note line-up and the "T" line-up.....if their lite versions gimp on these features then I guess it's the Note 10 pro for me

"3.5mm headphone jack adapter" - thanks but no thanks, I'll just skip 11-th model entirely.
Mi 10T Lite 5G had a headphone jack. This one doesn't. Thin and light doesn't really explain it, it's not 3.5mm thin.

                    🥱😴
