Who cares about the ban? Huawei won't ever use Qualcomm chipsets to their smartphones anyway nor would they consider using American tech parts but their own, so why should Qualcomm or any US tech company should continue doing business with them? And after Huawei's previous cunning attempts to circumvent the ban by shipping identical phones with crappy names, a history of false advertising and benchmark cheating, I'm now convinced that Huawei is really guilty of what they're accused of.

All these companies can come to china if they stick to rule of china.

Just like how one company has stick to rules of USA to come to USA.

china started bans before US.google apps, gmail, dropbox,ms onedrive,facebook,istagram,twitter,snapchat,pinterest,clubhouse,youtube,dailymotion,spotify,bbc,cnn,amazon,whatsapp,telegram,skype,viber... they deserved.figures show they made all profit in China. they are not a global brand. besides, huawei tries to sell it's half breed flagships in full price. this makes no sense.

[deleted post]China has an insane Apple following where most of the elites have either of Huawei and Apple.

                  Even Huawei CEO praised/respected Apple.

Shui8, 01 Apr 2021Lack of OIS, ok. Lack of UWA? What? There is 18mm lens isnt... moreI appreciated huawei for starting the trend of caring for ultra wide lens quality. But 18mm isn't that much wider than 23mm. And competition offers 12mm lens. And the videos are very shaky. Night photos are blurry. Night mode is bad. 90hz i am fine with that, but for an €1100, it isn't acceptable for an phone that lacks in software, they should make up for that in their hardware. But sadly no. The videos aren't stable at all

actually US made a mistake ban a big company in the world, huawei is having a lot of money they will develop all own now like processor, OS etc but china needs to use huawei products more than others if they want kill apple and samsung.

'The Mate 40 Pro's 90 Hz is on par, smoothness-wise, with the Oppo Find X2 Pro's 120 Hz (and we'd wager by extension the OnePlus 8 Pro's 120 Hz, but this reviewer hasn't used that phone so take that with a pinch of salt). The Mate 40 Pro's 90 Hz is also smoother in real life than Samsung's 120 Hz - tested on both the S20 Ultra and the Note20 Ultra' - https://m.gsmarena.com/huawei_mate_40_pro_long_term-review-2208p6.php

I'm afraid the bias is strong with that one.

And yet LG can't make any money without a ban 🤔
Seriously though, this can only get worse for my favourite hardware manufacturer because the ban prevents them from sourcing any parts, in the end (unless something amazing happens) Huawei will die.

Their supply wasn't massively affected by the US restrictions until late in the third quarter and fourth quarter last year but this year they simply can't make nearly enough smartphones and other consumer products to meet demand.
