My argument is that the diversity is more internal vs external
We have the widest type/speed of ROM Available in smartphones every

Nick Fury was using an HTC One (M7) in Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014).
In Avengers: Endgame (2019), when Bruce Banner takes a photo with two kids and the phone Hawkeye uses is a Google Pixel 3. It's weird because Pixel 3 and PS4 with Fortnite is still being used in 2023. The former especially since it came out the year The Snap happened.

See people, that was much better and more awesome when phones were not all the same, there was this thing called DIVERSITY!
Which can't happen if you get mad against who point out how bad/sad it is when yet another phone have all the same exact things as the other, and when you criticize features that you could just totally ignore and buy something else, which include bezels, pop up, rear/side fingerprint scanner, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, 3D face recognition, 3.5mm Jack, IR Blaster, small body, thicker devices, more/less camera than usual, special cameras, etc.
And before you ask, YES, there is a HUGE difference between someone annoyed by a punch hole and who wrote that he has nothing to choose from as all phones are the same, and someone badmouthing a feature that is rare, almost non-existent, disappearing or not even a thing yet, because one (you) can just buy ANY smartphone with what you want, while the other person has basically no choices.
So lets us all fight features that are intrusive (both from a user and a market point of view), and other, you can just simply tell that you don't like it without trying to make it sound like it is awful or a bad idea, thanks.
