fyhtyujyujk Just because you'd want a 6" quad-core super-phone clocked at 100GHz and a Terabyte of memory doesn't mean everyone else does!
In markets like India and other 3rd world countries, A lot of people will happily buy a $99 phone that covers the basics - plenty of storage, a good music player and so on with a decent 3" screen.
The "Asha" series was predominantly designed for India (even the name is Hindi).
There is a reason these don't have 3G - most of India doesn't have 3G except the cities; and people there already have mid to high end phones.

I dont understand why Nokia is not able to realize that they are being deteriorated with these stupid models.
They would have their own research setup. One should come up with smashing models and configurations like Samsung.

i bet nokias profit margins on these phones are much higher than anything android in this price range. Not only that but the phone will be much smoother. Great idea to come out with this range of phones, i think they should bring one to america on a pre paid network for bird prices

i have always with me,in my car's glovebox, my beloved nokia 6700 chrome. when my iphone 4s is empty and i am in a big rush, i know i have a reliable back-up with me with superb style and good battery

i love this phone. great values great power expected 3 days and most important someone (my evil freinds ) couldn.t installed spyware to monitor my private conversation, read my contact , looking my private galaries , steall my ideas one my note tell my boss that he have good ideas while actually my idea .

why nokia has released these dumb phones.....i always used to bash them for this type of decision of promoting asha series. but i saw in pakistan market people want to buy this. even cheaper androids were present but they said we dnt want android........strange/ / / / / but true. the world is full of dumbs for then 1ghz processor whici will never ever do multitaking is only choice. nokia studied the markets thats why they selling it
