06 April 2021
He will be a VP at San Diego and President of the North American division.

Anonymous, 06 Apr 2021Why?Because Qualcomm is a bigger company than HMD, which probably offers better compensation and benefits.

He join better company. Nothing strange here.

He knows Nokia is a sinking ship, probably this is why he is leaving. It is not weird Nokia did not announce any flagship device for this year and they where always saying the flagship will coming soon, yet nothing was coming. Yeah I know Nokia will announce some mid-range devices and that is all.

Hopefully his successor does a decent job this time around.

So, after 4 years of buying Qualcomms left over pieces, they gave him a VP position over there. No surprises here, but now I will laugh if Qualcomm goes down due to this guys decisions.
