Just because ppl install custom ROM doesn't mean stock ROM was bad, the stock ROM is great. it's just that custom ROM on MIUI is even better.

Cheaper a lot than both ... moreI'd rather wait for the Pro variant to be officially on sale in Malaysia. Okay, that price can make the Samsung Galaxy S21+ sweats hard, but I'm not sure about having those 48MP ultrawide and telephoto camera with 8K video recording support as 8K itself is still far from mainstream. After all, the Pro has the same ISOCELL GN2 sensor for the main camera as the Ultra, so that is good enough for me.
Having said that though, I'm pretty sure the Pro would be less than RM 4k if the Ultra is RM 4.3k. If Xiaomi Malaysia can sell the Mi 11 Pro for exactly the same price as the vanilla Samsung Galaxy S21, that would give some serious battle.

Great hardware but MIUI sucks.
Currently using a mi 10t and oneplus 7 pro as my daily driver.
MIUI is so frustrating to use.
When you use dark mode you can't even change the default dark gray and blue accent color of the system UI.
When using light mode installing and using a theme cant change the whole accent color of the system UI, the inconsistency is annoying.
You can't disable or uninstall some xiaomi app, you can't even hide them without using a 3rd party application.
Battery stats also sucks, it will only show you your usage for the last 24hrs, if you don't charge everyday it will not show you your full battery usage stats.
That back gesture needs to die, oneplus and Samsung have the best implemention of back gesture.
You can also notice some micro stutter when switching between apps.
Using dark mode also affect 3rd party app even if that app doesn't support it, no way to disable this. For example using MS Excel will be impossible to use because the background color and the text color will be changed to black. MIUI dark mode sucks.
If you only play games or watch video all day MIUI is acceptable but if you use your phone to be productive you will be frustrated.

Wah im proud it begin with Malaysia. But unfortunately i cant afford it. Hope xiaomi reconsider bringing Mi11pro to Malaysia..
