Every WP8 phone look identical, have almost identical front/screen panel design! Why do not Nokia use their Harmattan skin on their WP8-phones?

And people just admit it that HTC copied the lumia design, for we all know HTC doesnt make these kinds of designs. it may didnt copy the 820 but remember L800 and L900 came out earlier and this device resembles it.

jacktackle, 25 Sep 2012Nokia is new kid on the block trying to challenge the senio... morewhat? Nokia new kid on the block and challenging a senior? your calling HTC a senior? senior in what category? when it comes to Windows Phone i agree but not in mobile industry. YES Nokia's struggling rightnow due to bad decisions cause of the one pulling the strings. but Nokia is way ahead of Innovation than HTC and Nokia is the PIONEER of the mobile industry. HTC maybe be the first in the two in windows, but we all know that WinMo OS only gained real traction in the market when the lumia series came out.

Nokia doesn't have to worry too much. The Lumia 920 is miles or should I say another planet ahead of the HTC 8X.
HTC did copy Nokia previous Lumia models and the N900 which in effect is similar to the N920.

Nokia has every right to sue HTC. Many people say Nokia should stop suing others for "petty" design similarities and instead focus on selling their own products. Believe it or not, great design sells. Just look at Samsung - none of their touchscreen phones became massive hits until they released their iPhone-style Galaxy devices. It's certainly unfair if people buy HTC phones for their beautiful stolen design, letting HTC get market share from Nokia. The least Nokia should do is to warn HTC or tell them to pay up properly. Something has to be done with HTC, that's a fact.

Meh, it's about time for HTC to taste their own medicine.
They're just an average phone maker, look how they struggling to grab market attention, both in Android and now in WP?
No wonder with that crappy display, crappy camera, crappy speaker, crappy battery, crappy support now their sale going down to drain.
And now, with this blatant rip-off of Lumia series?
Eeew what a joke, people will prefer to buy the original rather than the copy.
HTC, Quietly Copying.

AnonD-324, 25 Sep 2012GSMArena says 'it takes way more than two weeks to develop ... moreit may b possible dear....!
I wud like to point out to gsmarena too-lumia 820 was leaked much before the htc was announced-you say this too is not possible-well the design was in works much before than that.they could have spied.well i prove your point wrong.
I must admit it sounds a bit funny?ok the design is actually from lumia 800 which goes back to n9.
seriously this piece of news is just a gossip.a intended leak by some aggresive nokia fan who do want nokia to sue htc.but more probably its more or less from the guys who were quite happy of getting apple bad popularity when they sued sammy and want the same for nokia.
If it would have been for suing microsoft would never let it be so-here gsmarena get my full aggrement.

GSMArena says 'it takes way more than two weeks to develop a smartphone and there's no way HTC managed to redesign the 8X in the short time between the Lumia 820 announcement and its own event'.
What GSMArena does not realize is that, way before the announcement of Lumia 820 HTC would have spied into Nokia and copied all the stuff they wanted.
Come on HTC, you can't do this. Go copy iphone 5.
Cheers!!

For those noobs out there, this design is not copied from Nokia, it is inspired from the HTC diamond 2. And suing for similar design shows the fear of competition. I used to like Nokia, but now , not really ! So Dear Nokia Fan Boys , dont comment without knowing proper info !

"we doubt Nokia will end up victorious – it takes way more than two weeks to develop a smartphone and there's no way HTC managed to redesign the 8X in the short time between the Lumia 820 announcement and its own event"
Well the Lumia 800 and 900 were around a lot longer. Thats what HTC really copied.

Htc looks better than nokia. And with beats audio and a nice camera. While nokia has pureview whos pictures are as good as like their taken from a DSLR.
Looks like their steering away from the pureview flop by suing other. Geezzz.
