Boss just see d cost. . Should nt compare both...pls dont cimpare s3 with 5...u can compare d features costwise.. nt featurewise...den i can compare nokia1100 with htc one x....its lyk ds wen u compare both..

Although I agree that we must compare the whole package (features, performance, multitasking...) in GS3 vs iP5 I must note that 99.99% of phone use is thru the screen and that is the most deciding factor in measurement. You can have a super cool android phone, but with a poor screen (unresponsive, terrible viewing angles, terrible colors,...) it becomes an altogether poor experience. Luckily only few cheap chinese phones/tablets have such poor screens. GS3's screen is quite good and among the best ones out there, but I must admit that iP5 has at least a better screen & CPU, too bad it's lacking in other departments :)

It is true that iPhone has better screen resolution, clarity etc. However, I much prefer 4.8" 75% of iPhone's resolution. It's like comparing 42" LCD to 60" Plasma.

I agree with this. My friends own an S2 and I can really say the display is dark and color is over-saturated.
Yes pure black is there but its pretty useless as the colors aren't accurate. Its like you are using the basic and high contrast theme on Windows.

Apple didn't invent pinch to zoom ... Several examples detailing the exact same functions long before the iPhone. The earliest of which, was the DiamondTouch device developed a whopping six years before the iPhone was revealed.
Developed in 2001 from the Mitsubishi Electronic Research Laboratory (MERL), the device is still available in the lounge for anybody to use. Samsung showed the court a DiamondTouch feature called Fractal Zoom, which allowed users to zoom in and out of photos using multiple finger gestures.

However screen replacement on iPhone 4/4S isn't much cheaper. Replacing one on the i5 (with the bonded glass and incell tech) will easily be the same cost or more than replacement of GS3 screen
