personally i pretty much bought the iphone 4 a couple years back based on the screen itself .. i switched to the sgs3 and gotta say after a few months i think i do rather the amoled now over the lcd.. i used to think the opposite but now digging the amoled..
btw here comes the sammy haters now lol

If you want to enjoy your gadget (e.g. phone) shy away from reading about "comparison" "benchmarks" "shoot-outs".

I think people are going to have to look at each screen individually and judge based on their personal preference. Some people will also like the idea of having more physical screen space. Some people will say 4" is friendlier to work with than 4.8". All a matter of preference.

it has been known that samoled displays have over saturated colors for years. nothing new here

It would be more intresting to test HTC One X's display with Retina display.
After all HTC One X has Super IPS LCD2 capacitive touchscreen, not amoled, so in the same category as iP5's.
And all previous test had proven that HOX's display is better than SGIII's regarding color accuracy and brightness...

The best and only IPhone has to offer against the worst display among the high end android. Fair. Try comparing it to a real display like the One X has.

Why not compare the iphone screen with the HTC One X instead? considering that both the one x and the iphone use IPS technology.
