It was done with the announced specs of Lumia 920 which MAY be launched in November, and judging after a certain camera commercial, they may have give it the specs of a 8K HDTV TV:).

What’s the use of having a nice clear screen, when the rest of the phone looks crap.. because the anodizing is chipping and peeling off..LOL.. Go sammy ..

dont know y lumia/nokia/wp fans keeps surrounding here n there even the news doesnt contain any articles refering them... better shut ur mouth sily nokia/lumia/wp fans as thz article z not for u...
IPS LCD provides better sharp n clear images n very bright color saturation but i personally like amoled screen as i like artificial colors rather than natural colors... though S3's screen z not good as S2's screen due to pentile architecture so the comparison with RGB screen of note 2 with IPS LCD of iphone 5 would give better comparison as IPS panels have regular RGB compilation...

chocowii, 25 Sep 2012Unfair! No Lumia 920 comparison. Lumia 920 does not exist(not on the market). So they compare what is available to normal users. You'll have to wait until November to see some test with Lumia 920(if Nokia does not go bankrupt by then).

Exactly. I am fed up with this marketing game, and how OLED always wins and LCD is an ancient technology. Nothing comes close to the Xperia S with the Bravia Engine. The colours on the S3 seems that it is there just to show you it can produce vivid colours.

The "best" will always remain subjective to a person's taste, it is always better to mention that the screen is up there on the top along with the others than stating that it is the best. Makes you sound like a paid apple site to be honest...

Oh my, another Samsung vs Apple thread hehe. Well does it really matter compairing displays? Or it's just another way to fuel the hype?
It would be better to compare features, performance and multitasking of each device.

Iphone's retina nd HTC ONE X and iPAD 3 are the best mobile displays i have seen...i do want want to see Nokia's one cuz people r bragging abt it without seeing it
