The "no space for HP jack" excuse is pure bs & nothing but a capitalist move. Even phones as slim as 5mm have had a damn 3.5mm HP jack.

I know they are diff tech, but the speed is comparable at >=100MB/s, you can easily get a 128GB card for less than $20 (in my country at least). I wonder what content would be slowed down when accessing from a microSD card? External storage is the best for storing any file (docs/media, etc). It can easily be used to backup stuff w/o relying on slow internet, you can directly store photos/videos from the camera, etc. Sure you might feel that installing apps on a SD card is dumb & it slows down the app, so u can install them on the internal storage.
I'd advise everyone to do your own research b4 taking whatever 'X' claims as gospel & believing in it, cheers👍🏻

And NO, the dongle is NOT an acceptable alternative, there are wide compatibility issues, and it can't allow many non-audio things to be used with it.
A device this big and this thick has absolutely no excuses for not including the Jack, except mindlessly following the stupid Apple bandwagon.

Wireless headphones are the past now sadly and the quality isn't as good unless you can use those sennheiser headphones which are not supported by a lot of phones without a digital to analog converter. Micro SD is a lot slower in terms of accessing the content. I think that they're minor gripes and most flagships don't have those features anymore. People want slimmer phones and integrating a 3.5mm jack is difficult with the slimness of many modern phones.

MicroSD isn't, internal storage are way faster ever since UFS appeared in handheld devices, while MicroSD is still way slower than the UFS. In fact companies should bring UFS solution to external form factor. Anyways

Just back up to a decent cloud service incase your phone dies or gets nicked. We might as well give up on both these features as they are becoming niche in themselves and as I've highlighted there are easy solutions out there.
This phone looks like the pinnacle of all flagships. As for everyone who is whining about it being easily broken...How about this? treat it well and don't bend it. Who goes round bending their phones anyway?

All devices should be handled with care, this is not a rugged-all terrain device, there are otjer devices that withstand some degree of abuse, a gaming centric phone is not designed to be "undestructible" I have had many devices since 1992, not a single one had ever cracked the way jerry rig forces the gadgets he tests, in NORMAL every day use, in fact no device snaps as in his tests, you clearly get carried away by things you see, without giving a little thought fist
