As expected, the Mi Mix Fold is not for everyone. The 4G version of the Mi 11 Lite fared pretty poorly - 5G is a must-have these days.

I just look for dynamic range, noise, colour accuracy and datarate figures, and compare the phones with the best ones, using the test images here, then look further for video and reviews for the few left I'm interested in. If the phones left aren't that crash hot, go back to another one down the list etc. A lot of things can be improved by downloading a good app, like filmic pro and learning how to use it to get best picture. It's simple. But funny marketing tries to hide all the real figures, because they don't want people to do this and not buy their phone.

The raw figures is what every thing else is based on. If they are bad, you can't get much out of it. If they are good but the software is bad, you can possibly improve it. They should try to test the maximum performance they can get out if the best performing app. Filmic pro and vizzygig used to do special things.

    These days i'm looking for new flagship phone with actual good camera and my decision was iphone 12 pro then i saw this MI and now i'm on hold to see what it is like.

    Being a street photographer i can tell i miss Galaxy s5 camera while using Samsung galaxy s10 . Such a fake camera

      I have the Tab s7+ to, this i can only use Bixby which I don't, byt not google feed even in 3.1, this is so much like Apple.
      So personally I go for this mi11u instead and until this I live with my old Mate 20X, which I better like vs the s21u to and without heat problems.

      When I buy a high end smartphone I want it with nearly perfect software and hardware.

        Can't somebody do a $300 phone with top video and stills camera functionality with filmic company participation, so we can buy that app and get best performance?

        Can't somebody do $200 mini water proof phone with top camera features?

          People who don't want this phone should go and vote now, retrospectively!

          These poles are a bit useless. Fan boys are more likely to vote for their products, boosting the yes vote, even though yes is dishonest.

          I wish it had latest USB twin ports, microSD, removable battery, head phones ports, if it doesn't have any of those. Not easily bendable. The list goes on. 1/4 the price. I actually like most of the phone otherwise. Not stunningly amazing list. Gaming phones remain better value for what you get, and the g100 is perhaps good value normal flagship, except the sensor it uses (should have used the next one up).

                            I am an S Pen type of guy. So maybe i will go for S21 Ultra rather than Mi 11 Ultra. Performace, camera, display, haptics, design is mostly a draw. But samsung wins in software, software updates, S Pen support, selfie cameras and brand name. While Xiaomi wins in battery. The only thing not ULTRA about Mi 11 Ultra is the front facing camera, it is very bad

                              Coming from a OnePlus MUI is a bloated mess , well you get what you pay for most of the times. Avoid expensive Xiaomi phones people.

But xiaomi is mi11 Ultra as SuperPhone and king of the android. What about that? The images shown in the launch event are also taken on beta software, so what happened to the quality of image to the retail unit? I am not saying it is bad camera system but it didn't meet the expectations.
