ASUSBOY9823, 09 Apr 2021Because they must do something for the pro.yeah, cause on the 12 series they messed up and made them pretty much identical, i'm guessing this year most likely the 13 will have a 60 or at most a 90hz display, the pro and max ltpo 120hz

The ProMotion is a must on the Pro models. It’s already overdue and now that we’ve seen LTPO tech mature already, it’s about time.

Also I’ve heard Apple planning to install a vapor chamber cooling system in the iPhone 13 series. Yes, the iPhone 12 (but mini) doesn’t throttle much (just 5-10%), but unfortunately it can get hot to the touch at a certain spot, so installing one may dissipate the heat more evenly and not cause damage to especially the screen. The 120Hz screen will put extra work to the iPhone so that’s probably a must if it’s going to be used in warm conditions.

Sadly there are no major camera improvements. Apple are always behind in camera photography tech (video still leads) but this is no surprise.

"A low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) display is a special kind of backplane technology designed for OLED screens and developed by Apple. It was introduced with the Series 4 Apple Watch and is a critical part of how the new Apple Watch Series 5 is able to offer an always-on display experience without completely killing the battery life.
