Latest update for the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G promises to fix the touchscreen issues

12 April 2021
It's not the first update to make such a claim, but that is the only major claim in the changelog - the other being a new security patch.

As always, more than 1 year without fixing this problem, even realme and xiaomi gives better problem-free phones, the user experience in some samsung phones is sh*t from the slowest fingerprint speed to the slowest charging speed (except apple wich is the slowest) to the more scam trash soc exynos to the trash plastic build in +1000€ phones called a scam name "glasstic" wich almost every person will think its glass but instead its a scam, to a heavy most bloated soc with ads on it, and we surely know that one ui has ads as shown in youtube, to 1080p resolution in 1000€ phones, also the s20 ultra and a tablet from samsung have green tint problem in the display but I think it was fixed after 2 months or so
Also samsung phones are overpriced as apple and with these scams and bugs that need years or months to be fixed and with this mediocre experience and not telling people that some exynos soc are more than 20% less and after throttling its even more than that, and very bad heating with much less battery life that's a scam
Samsung should fix these problem if it want to compete

BashfulLine421, 12 Apr 2021Does samsung not properly test things before release?Of course they do just like how they tested the note 7. It's just they forgot to tell the end user that they branched out into the IED market 😂.

My fiancee's device never had the touchscreen issue, but after the recent update she had a crazy issue with the screen flashing and going black when out in the sunlight. It was very difficult to wake the screen back up. Appears to be related to the auto-brightness feature.

At this point it seems like it's a hardware defect which is supposed to be covered under warranty (correct me if I'm wrong) it also looks like Samsung might be trying to cover the whole thing up until everyone's warranties expire, if that's the case then in my opinion buyers should see if they can take legal action, it's not like Samsung donated these devices people paid for them. In my opinion it's becoming clearer and clearer that it's not worth paying more just to have a Samsung logo on your device. Samsung's quality standards, or in my opinion lack thereof, might just be on display again for all the people who, in my opinion, pay more for the same specs and oftentimes weaker specs just to have a Samsung logo on their device to see.

I have stated previously but I would like to state again that my fe 5g never had this issue, I think this issue occurred in first product units, occurred more in 5g, but got fixed on 5g, remains on 4g versions, but it may also be hardware issue since my device is newly produced and never had this problem

Does samsung not properly test things before release?

I don't care about the touch screen issues !

I've been having a bigger issue with my unlocked S20 FE 5G

The 5G stopped working completely after updating to Android 11 ever since !

And I've contacted Samsung, and they didn't have any solution for me !

I've searched everywhere for a fix for this issue, but nothing !

I'm using T-Mobile, and I wish they fix it or do something about this !

Otherwise, I just wasted 100 bucks to have an S20 FE with no 5G

They are never going to solve it, they have been like this for MORE than half a year with updates. If the screen has a sensitivity problem on the sides, the only thing they can do is give more sensitivity with software But it's a screen hardware failure, same as the Pixel 4A and 4A 5G. It's been a manufacturing failure. What they need to do is have them return the affected phones and give them new ones.

about time, finally people wont see any ghost touch issues
