        now I wondered if you could tell me:
        1- name one phone with 4k display. (sony did it in 2015 when Iphone doesn't even HD)
        2- name one phone with 4k 120hz screen with 120fps in 4k recording capability.
        3- name one phone with 2600mAh battery that could rate over 100 hours in battery test.
        4- Iphones didn't even know what NFC is, back in 2011-2012.
        5- Sony camera sensors in every smartphone. (even the apple lidar sensor is devoloped and produced by Sony)
        6- apple's firewire cable is made by sony.
        7- IP ratings in flagship phones becomes a rule by sony. (news available on this website).
        Apple is nothing, compare to SONY kid.
        Sony is making future technology, but other companies are just users of these technologies. that's the difference.
        you didn'n know about "trinitron" right? that the technology which new CRT TVs becomes flat screen. Sony did that. you know "OLED"? Sony did that. gaming console? Sony changed its world to another level with PS. have you ever heared about JDI? that's japan display, sony is part of that company which was making screens for apple and others.

              1m2 and 5m2 already have been shooting 4k@120fps since last year and nobody was talkin.
              Now you're saying "1+ can already shoot 4k@120fps on SD888", but Sony did it on SD865 a good year ago

                What's with Sony and classic bezels? One thing I've noticed is that they even avoid showing their screens on pics

                    iPhone has 3 cameras, and all three take pictures of the same white balance, texture and color quality. Any other phone? Xperia 1 lineup.

                    Install filmic pro, or mcpro24fps for video shooting. iPhone gives you full manual access to all the cameras. Any other phone can do that?

                    Sony, LG.
                    Samsung, OnePlus, xiaomi don't even have access to the telephoto lens for the 3rd party software as if the lens didn't exist. Samsung doesn't have autofocus on wide angle lens. That's considered TECHNOLOGIES?
                    I'll tell you why: because it was Sony who actually developed the camera2api software protocol interface.

                    Remember that when you try to do something out-of-the-box with your phone; older Sony phones can easily be flashed with custom software and still used today - my xperia zr from 2012 is on Android 9, Xperia xz premium from 2017 is on Android 11. Huawei? Blocked bootloader! Stay tuned...

                      Don't even compare Sony to shitsung or xiaomi - they don't know there's such thing as 3rd party software. Because actually camera2api on Android was developed by Sony.

                      mcpro24fps or filmic pro don't even see telephoto camera on samsung, oppo, vivo, oneplus, as if it didn't exist. Enjoy the stock cameras on these phones with no chance to unlock their full potential.

                                Yes, Sony Xperia 1 iii will beat the Mi 11 Ultra if you are a xtreme professional photographer and videographer. Oh yes, don't forget the upcoming Zenfone 8 series cuz that will kill the Mi 11 Ultra easilly.

                                    You think some "Has-Been" company like Sony is going to challenge the Mi 11 Ultra?

                                      Why can't sony come up with a cohert naming scheme? Maybe I'm just stupid, but I never know whether I'm dealing with a cheap, midrange or flagship phone.
                                      Simple idea

                                      Cheap phone: Xperia Lite
                                      Midrange phone: Xperia Plus
                                      Flagship hone: Xperia Pro
