I've been saying this for a while that people who are constantly asking on this forum for small sized phones don't actually end up buying these in real life.

              I am surprised, why billion dollar comoany like Apple could not remove notches or make it smaller like Huawei did. Huawei Mate 30 Pro, P40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro has an small punch hole with an 3D face id on it. And they were able to put an UD fingerprint, making Huawei phones the only phone to have 2 secure biometric authentication systems. I wonder why apple couldn't do it. Why don't apple don't wanna use faster charging speeds? 2 hour to charge an phone is ridiculous, especially when you are paying 1000 dollars. Even worse, no charger or accessories in the box. Also, there is only 1 sim slot in most countries, which is even worse, since dual sim is important.

                Nice. 8K video with Iphone colours, smart hdr, apple stabilization and dolby vision is an dream. 48 MP with deep fusion is great. Iphone will soon catch up to Android. But, there will be four area where Android phones are still dominating Iphone :

                Lowlight in Auto mode. Currently most phones aside from Huawei phones need night mode on night, and that takes awas the experience of Point and shoot. Iphone doesn't have large enough sensor to do it. Apple likes to keep Iphones thin and minimalistic. So there is no way they are going to use an super huge camera bump like Mi 11 Ultra or S21 Ultra. So with that in mind, sensor size, aperture will be compromised. So quality will not touch android phones in this area.

                Macro, Iphone will start to have larger sensor and that is great, but that will mean more Blur and smaller focus area. And Iphones ultrawide aren't that great compared to Androids..

                Quality of other lens. Iphone is only great in main lens and the ultrawide and telephoto falls apart very much in lowlight especially even with nightmode. The selfie cameras of all phones are basically bad at night. Except Pixel 3. Apple likes to keep Iphones thin and minimalistic. So there is no way they are going to use an super huge camera bump like Mi 11 Ultra or S21 Ultra. So with that in mind, sensor size, aperture will be compromised. So there's no way they will put 2 large sensors on main, ultrawide and telephoto without a huge bump. So therefore, quality between lens isn't going to be as consistent as Androids.

                Zoom distance and optics. Iphone is still stuck on 2,5x zoom. Come on? And Apple likes to keep Iphones thin and minimalistic. So there is no way they are going to use an super huge camera bump like Mi 11 Ultra or S21 Ultra. So with that in mind, sensor size, aperture, focal length of the periscope lens will be behind android phones. Best periscooe is currently on Mi 11 Ultra, largeest sensor, wide aperture at 5x optical zoom.

                  The iPhone 13 mini could end up being a borderline collector's item if it's going to be a semi-limited edition. The small phone loyalists will be wanting used ones for years afterwards.

                        The market shows there's not enough marketshare for a compact phone, very sad however. Now I have to admit, the small iphone 12 mini was also way too overpriced, the SE cost half and roughly the same size. I like small phones though but i also like phones with big screens so yeah kinda difficult to choose which is my fav to be honest.

                          No more iPhone mini? "Brilliant". Oh well, seems like most people like to have a large screen anyway.
