To be honest mini devices are completely worthless and useless today smartphones became media devices so everything bigger makes these devices more comfortable to use.

    A gimbal stablization would be great, but having such EIS is already good enough. Let alone having 5 axis OIS.

                Thank God!!! for Android that we don't have to suffer same ugly design for years and use a notch free display if one wants to.

                  Apple should make all their iPhone 14 models with 120Hz OLED. Even the vanilla iPhone 14. It is long overdue that Apple should have been putting those together, but pity them, they couldn't put it out on 2020, despite the market dominating them with 120Hz OLEDs.

                  Apple should not also remove the port, as ports are still very very essential. Despite the future being "wireless". It is also long overdue that Apple still hasn't put out fast chargers like 50W or 60W at least.

                  As for the cameras, I would love it if Apple makes it like this.

                  Main: 48MP Custom Sony sensor with the size of 1/1.30" or 1/1.40", f/1.7 or f/1.6 aperture, with 26mm lens, and a new technology of autofocus, like Omnidirectional PDAF. with Sensor-Shift Stablization.
                  Ultrawide: 48MP or 12MP Custom Sony sensor with the size of 1/2.0" (48MP), 1/2.55" (12MP), f/1.8 or f/1.9 aperture, with 13mm lens, 120° FoV, with PDAF
                  Short Telephoto: 12MP Custom Sony sensor with the size of 1/2.55" or 1/3.0", f/2.0 or f/2.2 aperture, with 65mm or 80mm lens, 2.5x optical zoom (65mm), 3x optical zoom (80mm), with PDAF and OIS
                  Periscope Telephoto: 12MP Custom Sony sensor with the size 1/3.0" or 1/4.0", f/4.0 or f/4.5 aperture, with 120mm lens or 270mm lens (5x optical zoom 120mm), (10x optical zoom 270mm), with PDAF and OIS.

                  The display would also be very amazing if it has 120Hz OLED.

                  Battery size is overdue aswell, even with all that iOS optimization, as these should go like this:

                  iPhone 14 Pro Max: 4697mAh
                  All with Li-Ion battery type.

                      Wow, they already started with rumors of iPhone 14 already. Let's hope we will stay healthy until iPhone 13 comes around, let alone iPhone 14.
                      But then again, is not necessarily big news. It was already rumored to happen at some point, because of poor sales of the iPhone 12 mini.
                      Imo, they should ditch the iPhone SE too. Or at least make it more appealing, the way that it is right now, that model is not very good (design and battery wise).

                              It is long overdue that Apple should have been using much better sensors.

                              At least a 35MP sensor from Sony would be enough to actually record 8K properly, withan RGB Bayer Filter aswell.

                              If they want to make an iPhone 14 with a 48MP camera, then the sensor itself better be very stable in its native 48MP unbinned resolution. As most of the Quad-Bayers on the market, they usually have worse outputs when using their unbinned resolution and such.

                              It would be whole lot better if they actually put out good periscope cameras, such as ones putting out 10x optical zoom with 270mm lens to properly match the zoom feature.

                              Quad-Bayers for Apple on iPhone 14 would be great, but it should be very much greater than the output of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra (the Mi 10 Ultra uses the OmniVision OV48C), as we know Sony has been putting out extremely superior sensors.

                              The size of the sensor itself should be 1/1.30" or 1/1.40". Then partnering it with a f/1.6 or f/1.7 lens, then using Sensor-Shift would be very great for Apple.

                              Then for the notches, a single punch hole would not be as good because it loses the Face ID feature. I'd love to have a 3D Unlock and Under-Display Fingerprint Scanner just like Huawei.

                              A pill punch-hole would be bad, but I'd also like that too to be honest.

                              Then to the screen, it better have a higher resolution, like 1300p with 120Hz OLED. That would be pretty good, and it should triple the smoothness of iOS itself.

                                I hope to see smartphones with 5.4 "and 5.8" again soon.

                                      Maybe a sony imx586, with sensor shift and very low number of aperture. That would be okay..

                                      But c'mon. Seriously? 48MP in iphone 14? Even the Mi 10 Ultra had a much more superior 48MP OV48C.

                                      Maybe thats their first using quad-bayers.
