[deleted post]What is the average salary of the "average" worker here in the US? The S21 Ultra is also NOT affordable for the "average" worker! Once you hot $1200.00 what's another $100.00? Do you think that a person who can afford $1200.00 cannot afford $1300.00??? Your point is just that...a view point! I think ALL so-called flagships are overpriced! But it is what it is...if you want it, this is what it costs! Otherwise, there are many, many "cheaper" choices that will get you 90-95% of the same thing.

Your Xiaomi doesn't even have a 4K panel! Sony shoots and run in 4K HDR. Is it not enough yet? And after all, we can say that Sony has award winning mirrorless cameras expertise with them, and they surely know how to tackle this problem of "Great photos and videos". I mean only time will tell, we have to wait for the device to be released and then we can discuss, but so far, i guess sony is making its comeback. I mean 3 world firsts in 1 smartphone dang!

4K HDR 120HZ Display with no holes in it! Great for viewing movies 20:9 Aspect Ratio. Full Manual Control over the Cameras of the phone, i mean at this stage, we are taking on pretty much every other phone in the market rn! It can compete and has surely proven it!

But if you compare which phone can take better pictures of moving animals or persons or cars, Sony will take the prize. Those all high numbered MP sensors will take 10 blurry pictures out of 50 images.

Not to mention the IP rating. In the past all of them said IP rating is a gimmick (not needed in phones). Now they say Xiaomi actually listen to their users and they brought IP rating to their flagship line-up. I mean yeah, after how many years?
Not saying iPhones or Sony phones, or Samsung phones have everything (they actually lack a lot of things). But making fun of others because they lack some features, but then saying those features are not important because Xiaomi doesn't have them anymore, takes some kind of "special" character to do it (and I am not saying it in a positive way).
That's why I am avoiding any Xiaomi fanboy on this site, no matter how much they will insult me. It's never a constructive discussion with them. Is their opinion or no opinion.

From Sony's Website: "The promotion is valid when pre-ordering the Xperia 1 III from April 14, 2021 to July 20, 2021 and the subsequent redemption of the Xperia 1 III until July 31, 2021, with the redemption of the pre-ordered smartphone, one WF-1000XM3 headphones are provided for the ransom of one smartphone."
So it should be available after 20th July.
