I'm just pointing out that nowadays, flagship smartphones have large screen size that wouldn't fit perfectly with my palms and into my pocket like GS3, Optimus G, OneX, Xperia T.
I didn't bash or criticize the Note II. I even said that Note II can offer much much more than a smartphone can do. Was that really worst of a comment? For God's sake!

(Just because Samsung is riding their success right now and can afford to ask that much. Anyway, a Galaxy S3 stills stands up to the iPhone 5 and the Lumia 920 for a much more affordable price. So does the HTC One X. There are budget minded crappy galaxies like the Pocket, mini, Y, Fit and Ace)

Anonymous, 28 Sep 2012why are the samsung gallays so expernsiveThat was because Samsung Galaxy S & Note phones uses high cost high quality parts. Unlike the rotten apple uses cheap and poor quality metal casing that tend to easily dent, chip off and super thinly anodised paint scratch off.
But the funniest part was, if silly people saw products make with plastic, they think it is cheap. Did anyone think Lego plastic blocks cheap? Did anyone think Tamiya plastic model are cheap? If you do, you better re-evaluate your condition again with your doctor.

Note II is really nic... morelol your comment is the worst. note is good for office works like tablet. dont compare smart phones to note. there are many phones out there that will surely fit on ur palm but note can make higher battery which gives longer battery life. the impressive 3100mah + battery saver is enough to finish office work even w/out charging it more often.

But you have some point, I really dont get it why BIG Asian companies (Samsung, Sony, LG) are making smartphones, specially the flagship ones, way too big. Yet we dont have large hands like the americans. If they would make another large flagship phone, atleast they would also make a smaller version of it (for us asians). Razr M is a perfect size for me, with 4.3 inch.
Ironically, the american company (Apple) makes a phone which is a little bit small to there american hands.

i was never a big fan of large screen phones until i owned the Note in exchange for an Xperia S. web browsing and all multimedia has never come close to a desktop experience in a handheld phone since this.
the lag and fragmentation is there, but it's a platform issue and not the device's fault.
there's no point arguing which OS or device is better, but the Note does certainly deliver the best functionality for my needs.
worth buying? if you want to experience the convenience of having a phone and the functionality of a tablet, yes.
this is an honest opinion from a previous i4s owner, looking forward to having the note2 land here in manila.

Its the best phone ever, it gives you the classy feeling, it makes you different from nokia's "bar factor" because samsung then is a flip phone. In all i have 15 samsung phone including S1, and S2. I dont have any apple product. What i want from is, because im from a marketing business. They should not copy someon else tagline. They should think different line. I hope it make sense to you.

I don't think I am getting one. Way too big for me.
