Don, 28 Sep 2012Ordered it online, should get my note 2 early next week hop... moreBetter get your plutonium battery packs on as if its anything like the original Note it`l need to be plugged in 24/7.. good power under the hood but the worst battery ive ever experienced by a mile. gone back to my iphone for a good reliable experience

So, i don't get you saying we Asians are comfortable using this device. For easier operation, the Note has a one-handed setting for its keypad. You could say the same thing for tabs but the Note is never just a tab nor just a smartphone.
This device won't realistically be something everyone would prefer. For us who do, we appreciate its many features offering, especially the S Pen functions (for sketching & illustrating properly), processor power, crisp large screen, large removable battery capacity, dual SIM variation (waiting for that!), many added features that you can only find in this device and you still can pocket it.
Most of people don't get it because they only need a standard smartphone and hence keep attacking the Note as a silly "phone" and how awkward it is to see somebody holding up a large retangular object against their ear to make a call. Well, we Note users need more than a smartphone can do. You don't see the point, you stick with your simplier mid-functioning device.

Jode, 28 Sep 2012They should not use the tagline "the next big thing is... moreIt only reminds you of Apple because you are probably an Apple fan and you think the iPhone 5 is some kind of super next-generation thing, when it's just a taller iphone 4s that is not wider because that would eliminate the Apple fan's desperate need to own an expensive iPad as well. I don't mean this as a personal attack on you, I just feel sad that people think Apple are offering something new and dynamic when they are quite far behind modern trends in many way.

They should not use the tagline "the next big thing is here" it reminds me of apple. They should conceptualize a different tagline. Another proof that samsung is just a copy paste.

The Note 2 just launched in Asia, this thing is way too big for Asian hands, you can't press all numbers on the keypad with one hand. Other than that, it's a perfect device. Hopefully the LTE version will come out soon.
