There're just few reasons why: better camera experience (reliable, consistent, better quality overall with zero efforts), better and brighter screen, better battery life, better sound (you can't beat Quad DAC!) and most importantly it costs nearly 3 (!) times cheaper right now!

Mr Auto, the only person on planet who knows how to shot in Auto mode without multisegment and +1EV :D Man stop lose yourself. 80% of your photos was not shot in Photo Pro, and no Auto - I've checked that in software. Just bad experience with Xperia devices unlike all other flagship smartphones I had before. There must be some reasons for that and... they are obvious - subbar quality of Sony so called flagship devices. They just not worth money Sony is asking for them. Even half price of their current flagship phones is not justifiable in the world of outstanding Korean and Chinese smartphones.

I don't care what and how can you read or not, all photos are taken in PhotoPro mode in full auto without any modifications. Sure I have some great shots from Xperia 5 II (after numerous attempts, 50% of photos taken in not good light conditions are unusable) but nothing amazing and nothing that can't be achieved by dirt cheap Pixel. Sony fanboys always find few "scientific" excuses defending their crappy devices :). Anyway, I love Sony because I admire by how easily they can spoof their fans, sell them crap for insane price and impregnate their empty heads with thoughts of "Sony quality and perfection". I'm laughing at you, Sony fanboys! Pretty sure Sony does the same thing! :)

Did you know that 1II does have Night Mode (low light).. because in reviews u wont find this information? Dodge this. I compare by myself in ultra low light P30 and 1II, and Xperia was a little little better (a little bit lower noise and better colours - P30 has to much yellow).
                        I have post my photos and its hard to make better results on any phone on the market (perfect color reproduction, dynamic range and details).

                            It's not Sony thinking about profits that got them to a low market share, there are many factors that affected it. Internal issues and risk of cannibalizing their point and shoot camera segment, no assistance from the camera department until recently. These are some of the factors that affected it.

                            Now they target a certain demographic and are starting to make profits again. They don't care about market share since they still make money.

                              Gsmarena is still defending hypocrate by deleting my comment .and yet they even put a proper hot take on xperia lineup no mention to 4K120hz .
                              but the funny thing is that they praise 3.5mm and SD card storage but when they do reviews no metric score about these two being as a cons for phones with missing features.

                              so all in all They are hypocrates too just like you

                                Just compare my photos with his. It looks like Sony Alpha 6300 and phone that cost 49USD.
