I love Microsoft as much as the next person, but they are falling behind quickly. The fact that Windows 10 can now be compared to a mobile platform is saying a lot. Sure Windows 10 can do more but being able to do the core necessities of the same application while on the go is way more valuable. And now mobile devices are getting more powerful, and have way more headroom to do more things which allows the software to grow.
Also, people are just as comfortable using Linux/Unix(Android and to some extent Apple) as using Windows. Just look at this very website

The iPhone 11 Pro Max meanwhile done 70 seconds and 97 seconds respectively (-15% performance difference). That said, the iPhone 12 throttled wipes even the ROG Phone 5 in that test. And please don’t start citing Genshin Impact gameplay when the iPhone runs locked at 60fps in MadOut Big City 2 and Asphalt 9 whereas several flagship Android phones of its class has micro stutters everywhere.

Antutu already exposed the ... moreYet the iPhone SE 2 wipes the Huawei P40 in MadOut Big City 2 (also a demanding game). The iPhone may only use 750p display but the A13 throttles a lot (up to 40%+ performance reduction) with a downclock and poor thermals.
The iPhone maintains stable 60fps in that game. The Huawei keeps cycling 50fps.
Try to look up iPhone SE 2 vs Huawei P40 vs S20 gaming test in YT, some Russian tested it.

But the tablet market is dominated by Apple for a good reason. For me, personally, the iPad is by far the best tablet there is. For phones, I use both iOS and Android, and I am currently experiencing a lot more issues with Android 11.

The whole 5 year update system is overrated and brings nothing new and yeah it does slow down old iphones and causes battery degradation so people go and buy new iPhones.

Antutu already exposed the ... moreCan confirm this... Bought the IPhone 12 mini...ran Antutu 4 a few times back to back just to test thermal performance as everyone was making a big deal about it. It was almost half of the score that you get on first run. Phone had throttled immediately after the first run.
Small surface area for cooling the phone didn't help it as expected.
I returned mine after 6 days, gave me battery anxiety all day. Admitted the form factor but later started being appreciative of bigger screens.

I always wonder why I didn't make the switch earlier.
Every year it was the same old thing in a new package or a processor bump inside the same old package. Love my new Android. It's so refreshing to have so many options to choose from.
