Beats the Snapdragon 870.

After watching the review in YouTube. Sad to say this but the results are lower than the normal k40 which tells that this result is somehow fake the real one which is about 680000/724495.

    Well,all those numbers going up high(antutu scores) we r not far away from seeing 1million+ points scored by smartphone soc

      Corporations like to make what people like.
      Then you have those antutu and Dxomark that is clearly sponsored in occasions or even just give what people wanna hear more.
      You have Apple SoC, Qualcomm , Kirin and mediatek
      People who purchase cheaper phones (at the same level) tends to get higher end chip from mediatek.
      What these people wanna hear is they have a comparable hardware, so they are satisfied.
      Let's exclude Kirin here cus they are just purely sponsored either on antutu or dxo.

        About cheating :
        First of all, I don't know a single Dimensity involved...some devices with Helio, some old MT but no Dimensity.

        Second you have to know how this "cheating" works. It's only special task scheduler assign to some benchmarks...
        Frequency is more responsive when moving from idle to maximum...soc isn't even overclocked
        Apply this "cheating" on many bench, it doesn't change results on 3D benchmark because it's CPU scheduling not GPU, it changes CPU results by between 1 and 5% (on Geekbench for exemple).
        Real problem comes when the Benchmark is badly developed!

        The exemple is PCMark...this benchmark wasn't updated since August 2017.
        This benchmarks won't use any big core...
        For exemple, during web testing sessions, no big core is involved...
        Try any standard web browser, it will be able to use big cores.
        "Cheating" only fix a defaillant benchmark!

        If you want to verify, you only have to install CPU Monitor, run it in background and test by yourself...
        You will easily notice the problem on PCMark!
        But people never verify...even "journalists"

Heat = t... moreThe thing is that to get the same performance level, more gpu cores at lower clock speed consumes less power and produce less heat that fewer gpu cores at higher speed. But more gpu cores means bigger and more expensive chip.

That gpu is fine especially for budget zone. You can put 20 core but clock it lower and have same performance while heating more. Or you can put less core, consume less power, more manageable heat, but can clock higher. You can see the current Nvidia vs Amd. Ampere that can double the core of AMD Rdna2 but still in same performance ballpark due to rdna2 can clock higher. Yes there not the same. But that doesn't mean the same problems applies in phone gpu core

I don't doubt that Xiaomi has plentiful inventory of the 6.67" AMOLED panels. Yes they seem to stick it on almost everything. And yes that makes all of those phones too large for my moderate hands.

                Wondering if part of the reason the Mi 11 Lite and Lite 5G are somewhat overpriced is related to the sourcing costs of the smaller - and 10bit - AMOLED panels at 6.55"? It doesn't make sense otherwise that the 11 Lite 5G is 33% more expensive in Europe than the Poco F3?

MediaTek literally takes pride ... moreThere is no cheating, accept that Qualcomm is not invincible, Mediatek just made some updated customizations on the GPU and managed to improve it a little and leave the Adreno 650 in the slipper.

                            The Dimensity 1200 could beat the Snapdragon 888 if it had LPDDR5, even if Mediatek's LPDDRX4 is faster in frequency giving 4266mhz versus 3200mhz of the newer version on the SD888. It is also if Mediatek had placed the Cortex-X1 and the newer GPU Mali G78, it could be a chip capable of dethrone the Snapdragon 888, but as the MTK had no such intention, just left the Dimensity 1200 exchanging rays with Snapdragon 870

I... moreThis GPU Mali G77 MP9 is actually the Mali G77 Mc9, Mediatek announced that it made small changes that would give gains to more than 10% related to the installed in Dimensity 1000 Plus....
                              Now for comparative purposes, you shouldn't use a processor from another manufacturer, everyone knows that exynos 990 was a problematic processor with and sick, had overheating due to the strangulation of the cores and this caused it to lose performance in benckmark tests.

                                The Realme GT was banned from Antutu, being a performance-focused phone, the quality of the UI is similar to a Xiaomi, the thermals shouldn’t differ that much. I think that phone scored 670k in Antutu v7. However, one of the Mi phones with the exact same chipset surpasses 700k and beat even the ROG Phone 5 (which should not be possible). The v8 score is crazy high and still beat most gaming phones.

                                Hard to believe people still fall for Antutu similar to DxOMark ratings.

                                        It is impossbile that gpu may gain so much high scores.
                                        SD870 is basicly improved SD865 it has also Adreno 650, SD865 is faster than Exynos 990 which has Mali G77 MP11.
                                        Dimensity 1200 has Mali G77 MP9

                                        How is that possible Dimensity 1200 can be faster than SD870?
